They are probably off on other maps since the shinies they got was pretty meh in comparison to the axis in Normandy

Actually I find games on Normandy seem a little more balanced for me anyway. More close matches and not as many runaways either way …
Of course I’m a pretty casual player so take it for what it’s worth …
Allies were stomping in normandy for months prior to the STG44 dropping. All the veteran allied players are probably in Tunisia rn.
A lot of veteran Axis players who dropped Normandy returned to get the STG44 and panther, causing a marked increase in Axis performance. I dropped Normandy after maxing it because the CAS spam was dumb as hell. I came back to grind the STG44/panther.

It’s the reverse in Tunisia. It’s like the whole axis population got in Normandy and let newcomers (axis in Tunisia is often flooded by console players while allies are not) do the job. It resemble a bit Berlin’s debuts, just replace the Soviets by Brits.
I’m certain it will normalize soon (if they manage to keep their player base) somehow.

If they introduce a weapons leveling (((improvement))) right on the heels of their soldier (((improvement))) I will question the future of their player base lmao.
Tunisia as Axis is almost unplayable IMO. I went 3 days straight with zero losses as allies in Tunisia. I got put into a match where the italians were all console players and the allies were all PC players.

Yeah it pretty much sums it up. Mind you the Italians got some nice toys of their own… it’s just the player base either camp on roofs like if floor was lava (maybe the scorching sand is too hot?) Or bunny hop like if it was another console favourite game; CoD. The roofs campers, allies can ignore while running in points, and the bunny hopers are so inaccurate it’s easy to take time leading them with your iron sight to pop them like… well like if they were rabbits.
Yeah it doesnt seem like Tunisia is really truly unbalanced, the player base just seems really out of whack. until they add an XP incentive people will just continue to dogpile onto the winning side and ride that for as long as possible. I stopped trying to grind Italians and just started riding the victory wave as british.

They’re not dumb, they’re new, and playing on outdated equipment at 30fps. Yeah, that’s a big factor in Allied win rates right now, but insulting an entire set of the playerbase doesn’t help. Would be neat if we could get them on the forums or discord, have some actual game mechanics and strategy discussion with them.
It doesn’t help that they basically can’t get new troops without paying money now. I doubt a bunch of people who haven’t shelled out for a PC or new gen console are gonna drop a bunch of cash on silver troop orders.

For real. I thought it would be fixed with the bomb nerf but its still rockets and bombs everywhere from every side. Ditched after reaching level 32
And people come on to the forums and dead ass say “bomb are too weak, un-nerf bombs :(”
Last night I noticed getting killed inside buildings from bombs that landed well outside of the building. Hopefully they didn’t reverse anything in that regard.

You can do some nasty shit with the 50 kilos and 500 pounds, for example last night I killed a panzer 4J in my a-20 by just blind dropping them
Yeah still unplayable. I could barely stomach grinding out 3 level then ditched back to Moscow for some game play where my screen doesn’t constantly shake

I flew the SBD in Tunisia for an entire match, which I rarely do and I got 6 vehicle kills and roughly 70 troop kills and 0 deaths.
Every 60 seconds BABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
@44854715 that legit gets annoying. Between artillery, tanks, detpack spam and constant CAS all your Hear is BABOOM BOOM BAOOM BOOM ear rape and you look like michael J Fox shaking constantly.

The bombs have been more manageable where as before you could have easily gotten 20+ kills with the ju or a-20

Oh definitely its actually why I left the first time and returned solely for the new levels. I feel like I have fucking Parkinson’s after I grind Normandy. Its like all the war thunder players wet dream
Grinding the MP43 felt like a trillion years passing by while I slowly dragged my nuts on a cheese grater.
