Planes ok… when i saw anyone Fly a get in the fighter and shoot him Down… Thats the way but normal 98% Players do nothing against the Planes, 98% cant Spot anything… I played all Infantry, Tanks, Fighters, Bombers.
The Fighters and Bombers are ok but when no one do anything against is that no Game Problem. The Problem are Gamers they cant fly. Fix an Patch the Gamers Not the Planes…
I see them often enough. I also see many bolt rifles and I don’t even know who’s using them. They are real people, not bots.
I guess it’s either you getting used to face the b*stards (on both sides) and finding them less overwhelmingly dangerous as you progress and learn how to deal with them, or most of the people who rushed to the top of Normandy earlier got bored in the meantime and thus migrated to other campaigns. Or both.
You won’t. Because some P-38 guy is already flying. Not killing infantry, not killing planes, but still flying and using the attacker slot.
You are mostly right, but you must remember that most of those players don’t have access to additional vehicle slots and for them it is a choice between for example a tank, that will give them a lot of points or a fighter plane, that will be useful only to shooting down bombers, which don’t profitable in comparison. And because majority of players are rather selfish they prefer having points than sending their games protecting the whole team. It’s just not worth it for them.
Not in my experience. I have both an attacker and fighter slot at the same time. I can pick either depending on what I need.
With american planes, either is fine because either can hunt bombers.
Not so much with the german planes in Normandy. Well, unless I slot in a 110 instead of a 188.

The problem for Axis in Normandy campaign is not about tanks or planes. It’s about lacking real players. German team most of the time has like 4 real players while the rest are bots. How do I know this? I saw a lot of German squads not moving, not going for objective at all, running in circles like headless chicken, etc. Most of the players are playing allies and I don’t blame them because developers created Germans so bad that alsmost no one is even willing to play them. Since I’ve started to play this game Normandy is getting worse and worse for Germans especially airfiled map. That map is totally unwinnable for Germans now. I exit that map always since they’ve made it so easier for the Yankees to win. Soon no one will play Germans except bots if they continue like this.

i want to say that bots usually will play the objective so if they don’t do that then they might be real players

Even though that’s the truth I still stand behind my statement. That German teams (don’t know about other campaigns haven’t played them enough to analyse) have alsmo always 70% bots in Normandy campaign.
Yes, they are full. However it’s a big difference full of players and bots.

If germans have good ammount of real people (that aren’t complete idiots), they stomp allies like no tommorow.
I dont know why noones mentioned it but the T20E2 would be a great weapon to add to the US as a counter to the FG-42 even tho its a protoype that never saw combat its in timeframe and was closer to being used in the US military then the Sten/Lanchester , Piat, Bren , Enfield , And especially the crappy Ross rifle.
Also now Tunisia is coming out soon does that mean all the subpar equipment i just mention is gonna get replaced by actual American weapons? if so thank god im so tired of those pieces of crap the only good one is the Enfield. and even then eh it really pisses me off the US had to be the fricken test bed for a seperate countries military when the US didnt use a single weapon i mentioned.

Almost like they actually did in real life. Dont like bombs? Get in a fighter and shoot us down or build AAA and shoot us down, or wait till the slow to turn slow to re-arm bomber passes before you move in to take a checkpoint. You know, tactics…Us axis players love players that just respawn and run back to the same spot to get blown up again.
Easy for you to say when bomber gets massive XP for his time/effort but the fighter gets very little if any XP for his
AAA is a joke at this point … too little ammo, slow turn rate and planes are bullet sponges … How about you stay on the ground and show us your tactics there …???
