I agree. Americans have better planes and tanks in the late period. I often lost the game when they have even only one Jumbo. It can attract and tie down almost half the team in the invasion.

No. MP34 fires 5.7 damage bullets at max 450RPM, for 42.75DPS. The M3 fires 6.8 damage bullets at 380RPM, for 43.067DPS. Do the math. Furthermore, because the health of a soldier is 10 (though you may down the enemy if you only do a small amount of damage over lethal), the range at which the M3 downs an enemy in two hits is much larger than that of the MP34.
The Sherman and Pz4J are equals. The 4H is better than the Sherman, but worse than the Jumbo, yet is unlocked at the same level as the Jumbo.
Explosive filler, but longer reload. The only issue here is the bugged damage models.
Irrelevant as the M8ās equivalent is the Pz3N. And while the Pz3N is better than the M8, the Jumbo is better than the Pz4H by a much larger exponent and is the tank the Allied team will be using in the late game anyways so that doesnāt matter either.
Maybe attempt to capture points instead of going for kills? Literally git gud lmfao. And you can not win this game on your own. You might be better than most USA players. Look at the ENTIRETY of a scoreboard and you will notice that the German players have higher caps and KDR on average than USA players.

Conquest maps are pretty much symmetrical and teams can spawn on either side. So not favoring either side. Assault / Invasion maps always favor the defending side. This is completely unrelated to what map or nation it is. This is because the win objective is much easier for the offending side as it is an āactiveā objective you can complete simply by capturing the points, while the defending team has a āpassiveā objective of preventing that from happening. If you look at the map where Germany has to attack, it favors the defending Allied team.
Go do some research, as unlike you, I actually fact-check what I say lmfao.
Unless you provide a large quantity (100+ matches) of reliable data (playing at different times, on different servers to make sure local circumstances are not skewing the data) showing one side has a larger winrate, this is bullshit. Just like soviets do from the same position. Moscow is known for having horrible map design and cap placement.
Ugh⦠lack of teamwork is what kills teams! When Iām flying CAS, Iām often begging people to mark enemy armor, only to receive no response. I canāt destroy what I canāt see. People just mindlessly run around w/ no strategy or communication and wonder why they lose.
That said, the German armor is superior to the American armor, but it was IRL too, so thatās no surprise. The German aircraft suck, though, so thereās that.
As dedicated Germany player, we always and I mean always loose this map. ( actually today at the last control point we manage to hold it, what a joke )
Iāve played this game for 70 hours since launch of open beta with all but a handful of matches in Normandy. Simply because you have issues with the American weapons is a you problem. And if you think 100-130 kills is enough to carry a team on D-Day when its a 30-40 minute match, I can tell you exactly why you arenāt succeeding.
Also fun fact, the Americans in closed beta won D-Day 80-90% of their matches. And nothing has changed since then. Except the players.
From my experience playing D-day map on either side several times (BTW I really like that map despite all, it has an epic feeling that other maps just donāt match), most of the outcome of the match is decided at the very first cap.
More often than not, Iāve seen US side bleed off a frightening amount of time and respawns to take that single point (up to losing the battle before even taking it, seen that from both sides as well). In comparison, once the beach is secured, further caps are taken with ānormalā effort, and US victory chances depend on how much of their force got wiped out beforehand.
The reason, if I had to guess, is that US players need a coordinated effort to either flank or push through the first defense line, which requires more awareness and teamwork, while Germans ānaturallyā tend to spread across the whole defense line occupying every bunker / MG nest, effectively covering the line without the need to coordinate.
for US players, my advice is to start the match not by rushing forward, but instead trying to gain as much ālong-termā tactical advantages for the team as possible. Engineers can effectively flank while remaining in cover, and build rally points in forward positions on map edges. Snipers should stay in cover on the beach and spend some time and ammo shooting down as many MG42 as possible, be them manned or unmanned (destroy the MGs before someone can use it to wipe out allied squads).
Yup. If the American team has enough people with actual brain cells they can do this, and then proceed to steamroll the German team after 1st point. Itās literally a learn to play issue.
And, for the love of Patton, stop going to the right. Thereās nothing but death there. Send tanks to clear the left ā where you have almost complete defilade from most MGās ā and follow the tanks up to clear your way into that huge bunker on the left. Thereās your opening. When US forces do this, it goes well. When they donāt, they get chewed up like a can of nasty dip.

welp if i have to be honest planes should be removed entirely or reworked since they can break the gameā¦sadly the AA emplacement is partially useless because it has few ammo on magazine and turn around too slow and many times i happen to find some veteran war thunder player that are very very good with planes. Since you find team that completely lack planes, AA that is quite hard to use and very war thunder skilled player the planes become braindead gamebreaking vehicleā¦its really sad when a team get completely obliterated because a single dude can carpet bomb the entire map without worryng about being shot down
