because they probably don’t feel comfortable with it a pistol slot but i don’t care since it has upgrades

If only I didn’t buy 2 grenade launcher out of fear they become unavailable.

its too big to be occupying the pistol slot imo. but it should definetly not be an assaulter weapon

its more comparable to the m1 carbine than a pistol though. so it should probably be treated as such (same for the VG 1-5 darkflow plz)

sure if not for the fact that when you shoot you’re basically blind, the damage drop off is lower and the dispersion is higher.
apart all those things yes it has a stock in common with carabines.
and contrary to pistols the funny luger has higher damage, much larger magazine, and just visually its way to large and clunky to ever be of any practical use as a sidearm in the real world
(the visual recoil of the carbines was also absolutely horrible many eons ago)
Also why they didn’t put them available to mortarmen, it would have been a nice touch
It’s effectively just a pistol with a larger magazine added and a rifle stock. Both can be attached quite quickly and individually carried I doubt that it would encumber a soldier a lot. So credibility wise they could perfectly add it as a secondary weapon imho.
I can’t judge the ingame performance yet but if were going back to credibility again it’s not reasonable to make it a better weapon choice than even just a semi-auto rifle. In WW1 trenches those guns with extended magazines were real killers but I doubt that this guns performance is anywhere competetive on a WW2 battlefield and wouldn’t be outshined even by an M1 carbine - which are already rather weak weapons in this game.
So either they bend credibility a lot with this gun or I might fear it’s a stylish but rather uneffective choice to spend a gold order.
Would probably not encumber the soldier that much if hes just walking no. But if you have to assemble it every time you want to use it, it isnt effective as a sidearm. Pistols/sidearms are supposed to be compact and easy to draw. if the size and draw speed of the sidearm doesnt matter, why not just bring another smg right?

Will get one for radio operator, who has extra weapon slot anyway, and it is fitting for “artillery” version. Just not sure in which campaign.
