No more stalin statue

The city is literally covered with brown leaves and no snow, the Germans didn’t surrender in fall, so thus they had the city.

damn…

that is truly sad

thanks for checking.

i wasn’t sure.

got confused with the editor since the statue was destroyed and i get “acustomed” with seeing it destroyed.

Aha.
German law expert and not aware of § 86a StGB? Do your homework before leaving one-word-claims.

Played three games since with Nazi flags.

And you played the German version in Germany?

Yes.
You know that the law you refer does not refer to art etc. which includes video games for around five years now?

Oh yea, the art issue.
It’s up to a judge to consider the publication of using a swastika as a part of a piece/act of art or not.
Same is for satire.

Its still allowed though.

As long as a war glorifying commercial game will be considered as art by a judge…do you think that’s likely?

Yes because reality showed us that.

Since the usage of symbols like that are liable to a judicial consideration/judgement, which is more or less granting a right to use, it’s still NOT exactly “allowed” (in sense of using it for any given purpose as long as one just claims it to be art - that’d be a free shot for every radical out there).

However you look at the interpretation of given law and in this case the §86a, I didn’t even mean to start a deeply detailed discussion about using the swastika in exceptional cases, I just named that law in order to show the differences between different nations and its laws ( I named the US in comparison).

Fact remains that given law of the country publishing a game is valid and the publishing country is bound to fulfill it. Period.

Have a nice evening

Still would like to know examples instead of “its somehow possible”. Getting too German.

Fact is that games in Germany can do it and if you fail to come up with examples beyond theoretical examples where I am not even sure if this would occur, then it seems not be due to German rules.

I’m glad to see someone mention this, especially after previous complaints from certain people on the forums about too much Orwell and the like after the Japanese flag was mistakenly replaced, or certain war criminal avatars/golden soldiers were removed, people seem to have gotten used to not seeing swastikas and ignoring Japanese fascists who should have been treated the same way. The display of fascist symbols should be restricted by the laws of the country in which they are displayed.

Not many countries would regard the Japanese flag as a fascist flag.

It’s just a hidden rehabilitation of nazism.

Japan never changed their flag iirc so this would mean that we need to censor Japanese flag.

The only one wo give a fuck about japanese flag are the korean, chinese and philippines a bit the rest of the world simply dont care about it apart some asian ultra nationalist still in 1942
