NO More Friendly Fire...Thats what we need!

By ban I mean timeout

I wouldn’t be suprized if someone who starts with his first post on a topic with an ad hominem argument spiced up with a special flavour of views about people in the west…if someone like this was one of the problematic players who caused friendly fire to be turned off in warthunder.

Still while he’s not able to write a single post without insulting he is right that teamkilling should or even must stay. The implications of no friendly fire on invasion maps would render this gamemode totally unplayable.
Yet an autokick for to many TKs in a certain time is a good idea.

  • complains about arguments
  • complains about others’ opinions for most of comment.

it’s about why i’m for increasing difficulty level in shooters, so those who can’t make a step not getting killed by literally anything except arty will just leave. not saying about using some little freakin tactics lol. also i’d see how you don’t ever touch allies on such a small maps where bots live on each other’s heads

about my setup, special for you

Not all of firendly fire I meant just to correct myself (I really got confused by some salty player…)
Roadkill by teammate with an idiot AI is still frustrating I admit for you. I keep that
The Mortar/bomb friendkill is a kinda thing what I could keep for kinda reasons…
Barbed wire is frustrating when I se someones are playec them everywhere cause its so cool “they think”
Flame thrower kills are kinda awfuls…if smartass burns a hous up and kills a tons of my mans I wont say its “OK”
These are my point of view, IMO etc.

well the game is based on authenticity and historical accuracy so removing stuff like that would take away from the point of the game.

All of the toxicity aside, friendly fire is an important factor in balancing certain weapons, like artillery. The only thing I would add is a small XP penalty (negative XP), or an XP gaining penalty (meaning less XP gain for the duration of that match) upon teamkills. That would make people more careful.

I’m still maintaining that one-way barbed wire would be way too exploitable.

Actually we don’t know how much friendly fire is happening … Myself personally I would say a good bit because I don’t think that most players are concerned about it except when it happens to them.

But the best way to cut down on friendly fire, especially friendly fire due to arty, mortars and planes. The best way is to subtract kills for every friendly fire casualty you inflict.

I would like to see another column on the end of battle report that shows how many friendly fire casualties you caused. This mechanic would make people more careful about when and where shoot and plan strikes …

Uhm…did you use googletranslate for this? Because it’s gibberish.
And what do you want to tell me with your special setup? Is it “special” for me because it’s the NKVD or what?
God damn there is a russian forum for russian speaking persons. Don’t get me wrong I totally appreciate if people from everywhere come together in the english speaking part, but if english means for that person that it’ll be either slurs or gibberish, then it’s simply not the best baseline for a discussion.

@33584841 Eeehe. I forgot about the flamethrower teamkills. This is pretty much the only type of tk I really hate. While A Flamethrower can be a blessing for your team in the right situation I get hypertension by the people just spamming it around at a capturepoint without no care at all if there are teammates or not.
But despite these idiots I’m still convinced that teamdamage is a necessary mechanic. While again there should be consequences for tu much recklessness.
