If you decide to introduce more copypaste campaign like Stalingrad would be it would be the turning point of the game - a turning point that nobody plays your new campaign. Make it maps or some kind of side campaign of Moscow would be much better
Unpopular opinion: I care more about new, interesting maps and new mechanics then some recycled gear
Copy paste should be avoided as possible as. It is just saying âI am lazy and i wonât work :)â It isnât attractive nor fun to grind.
Iâd say that for any new campaign, at least half of the gear for each faction, with extra emphasis for the bottom and top ends of it, should be entirely new kit. The huge amounts of overlap present between say normandy axis and berlin axis is definitely quite a drag, and I donât think more campaigns like that should be added.
Also please for the love of all that is holy create a functional system for queing across several campaigns at once before you add any new ones. Splitting players up across so many different queues is just absolute murder for game quality as a whole.
I think another Russian/German campaign will be a big mistake. It will only serve to divide the already divided German players making even more steam rolls. Think Berlin and Moscow are bad now? Lose all the Germans to a new campaign and see how much worse they get.
Weâve all unlocked PPSHs and MP40s several times and for all but the most dedicated Russian or German fan boys this is a hard pass from me for more recycled unlocks
Yeah they should extend the campaigns instead with more later equipments and vehicles along with maps ofc
Even if i wouldnt mind an Pacific Campaign
Expanding the campaign into an eastern front to include things like Stalingrad makes more sense to me
Iâm going to say I really hope they donât keep just adding more late equipment to all of the campaigns. Part of what I like about this game is how much presence things like bolt actions and early smgs have, and if it just ends up being âAVS, FG42, STGs for everyoneâ in every campaign, thatâs honestly pretty lame.
All they need to do is to change the squads. Riflemen of which are more of should only use Semi auto at max way later on. Problem here though is the assault teams in mind and might grow them even more stronger⌠Assault rifles for special teams with 3-4 that can carry like Paratroopers or Scouts depending on the rifle. But this is another subjectâŚBut i understand the concern of it becoming to unbalanced perhaps if we stretch it long enough as the gaps also grows
What is funny, is that people who reeeeing about various weapons and thus wanting same guns for every campaign, at the same time dont want copy&paste campaign. Interesting takes
japan, it will japan
Hopefully
I really dont think the game can take more campaigns, Im playing tunis at the moment, and I feel like half my team consists of AI.
More campaigns will divide the player base even more, man I want to have these crazy matches back from early CBT moscow, where there was action everywhere, because there were players everywhere!
Changing the campaigns into this here will be a real no brainer:
-Normandy turns into âwestern frontâ and then adds the Ardennes and operation market garden.
-Moscow turns into âeastern frontâ or âoperation Barbarossaâ and then adds âStalingradâ and âLeningradâ and such.
-Tunis turns into⌠well not sure Italy/ africa campaign? basically Italy, Sicily and Africa and such.
-And Berlin could add some more areas of 1945 germany, there surely were more battles happening than just berlin. So basically âBerlinâ could be renamed into âfall of the reichâ or something.
The only real campaign that could exist on its own would be the pacific theater, because it would be so uniqueâŚ
Exactly this. I wouldnât mind grinding for some of the same gear I did in another campaign if the campaign theyâre used in feels different. Aside from that, they added the transfer weapon system, so I could just preemptively max level those guns before transferring them if I wanted to.
I miss those. Its why I stayed and paid into the game
I love gameplay. I hate game design. More campaign mean less player per campaign. Ai squad not help anything, not funny with them.
easy solution do what War thunder did with Helicopters and the Israeli tech tree when you reach a point in the Moscow campaign you unlock Stalingrad and all the and you already have the Mp40 vz24 and panzer 3 unlocked as they were used their too and later equipment like the T-34 and Panzer 4 F2 and G Mg 42, FĂG 35M , Solothurn 31.M , M1 bazooka and etcetera
That is sorta what was implied when people talk about merging campaigns into big scenarios. Like Moscow being Eastern Front 1941-1943, Normandy being Western Front 1944-1945, Berlin being Eastern Front 1944-1945, and Tunisia being North Africa. It would encompass all battles within that timespan
Honestly I think Stalingrad would be a good middle ground for the eastern front. Early war Moscow, mid war Stalingrad, then lastly Berlin for late war.
we have almost every single distinct theatre except asia/pacific. it would be a no brainer to add that next, the locations and gear would be completely different, as well as introducing a completely new faction (Japan). I canât see the reasoning behind wanting stalingrad, yet more germans and russians fighting in yet another ruined european city. boring. whereas pacific would hopefully breathe the life into the game that tunisia failed to bring.
