No kill-cam for silenced weapons

There really shouldn’t be a kill-cam for silenced weapons; it just negates the entire purpose of using a silenced weapon. Opinions?

Wonderful idea…

Yup. I agree. I don’t use supressed weapons myself, but it should be a thing.

Hmmm no I dont agree.

Is not alerting other soldiers that you are shooting.
It doesnt matter to the dead guy, if he hears the shot that kills him, or not.

Otherwise, why not also remove the killcam from a snipe kill from the other side of the map, based on the same reason.
“the purpose of sniping is killing from a long distance without being seen so remove the killcam or it negates the purpose of the sniper”

You’ve actually made a very good point: Think about all of the time and effort that a sniper has to go through to get in a good position only to have it ruined by the kill-cam after the sniper’s very first kil—which means they’ll probably have to move their position after every kill or get hunted down. It really makes no sense.

Personally, I don’t think that there should be a kill-cam in the game at all. Years ago, when FPS shooters first came out there was no kill-cam. You actually had to figure out who shot you, from where, and try to find them. In my opinion, it made the game more challenging and more fun; however, if the developers were to completely remove the kill-cam I think the majority of players would complain because they believe they need it since it’s a common function in many games.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of developers in recent years are dumbing down their games to reach a much larger audience—and I think kill-cams are part of that process. That’s just my opinion. So, my suggestion was to only remove the kill-cam for suppressed weapons to keep the complaints to a minimum.

Well that doesnt happen often

I also thought about this.
What is the first thing we all do after getting killed?
Kill the guy that killed you.
Removing the killcam could motivate the player to resume playing the objective, instead of going after his killer.
Or he will waste his time searching for the killer…I dunno.

When there were no kill-cams, I would usually just try to find another way to the objective; however, if it was a particularly pesky sniper I would take the time to hunt him down. These days, it’s a tossup… But the kill-cam does make it a lot easier to find your killer. Too easy. Using good tactics to conceal your position definitely isn’t rewarded when the kill-cam gives up your position after the first kill.
