This game features several different game modes; however, you as a player don’t get to choose the one that interests you. That decision is made by the developer and their match maker.
When the match maker finds a game, you are simply thrown into it. There is no option such as ‘join this match.’
So, if you don’t like or want to play the game mode or map presented then your only choice is to wait until you spawn then leave. That is absolute garbage.
Why would anyone create a game like this and then not allow the players the freedom to choose the game mode and maps they want to play?
Perhaps, people from former communist (some would argue that they are still communist) countries may be accustomed to being told what to think, what to do, and when to do it. So, perhaps no big deal for them. However, those of us who live in the free world are accustomed to freedom of choice.
A game that lacks, at the very least, a filter (to filter out game modes or maps that people either do or don’t want to play) is, in my opinion, lazy on the part of the developer and certainly not a good business decision.
I play games to relax and be entertained - not to be annoyed and frustrated. I am not going to pay anything for game where I have to desert maybe 20+ times before I am presented with a game mode and map that I (not the developer) want to play.
Why is it so problematic for the developer of this game to provide the players of it with choice? Every other game like this manages to do it, why not this one?
