This review will be about Nikolai Kharitonov, a soviet pilot, who never stopped fighting for his homeland, despite being wounded multiple times during the war.

History:

In 1940, Nikolai Kharitonov got enlisted to the soviet aviation school and started to defend his country shortly after. During his first fights, he got shot and wounded multiple times, but went back to the frontline again and again.

In 1943, he fought in stalingrad, as a lieutanant of an aviation squadron. Till that time he already has participated in over 225 flights and shot down 22 enemy planes during intense air fights. During that time, he was heavily wounded and spent some time in the hospital.

Shortly before the victory, in April 1945, he was again heavily wounded during an operation, but managed to survive the war, after resting in hospital for multiple months. In his entire career, he participated in 252 flights, 79 air battles and managed to shoot down 36 planes by himself. He became the medal of the hero of the soviet union.

In which company do you mean? He is attacker pilot II in stalingrad. He can be equipped in every attacker plane squad, there are no limitations. :wink:

Nice.

It’s always nice to a hear the story of a Ace.
However most of the time we insist on the number of plane people shot down. But It’s more difficult to know how many of his own planes he has to left destroyed.

Because 79 air battle and never get shot down is very sus.

I mentioned that he was shot and wounded multiple times, so his plane was probably shot down several times but he managed to survive the fall
