This present event, we get a nice looking squad, with the best possible smg allies had to offer… For the Soviet faction. this is good and all…

But I propose that, just like it happened with the Sherman 76, which Soviets AGAIN had access to first before allies, that allies get access to this very potent smg FOR THEIR TECH TREE.

Think about it. Allies don’t really have assault rifles. that smg is not, but I’d gladly overlook it if Allies were to get it for their tech tree. Because, it’s seriously powerful.

It was so very much “Allies”, that even Brits tried it, in the most British possible way, second only to the King himself:

This IMO is the way to go…No prototype/Paper Assault rifle, Just good old High capacity tommygun.

But the flood gates have been openened. such a pitty.

what I wouldnt give to rewind and swat these High BR Tech Tree Selectfires, Ho RI, AS-44s and Rd-44s from existance

Thing is, that smg is so potent, that the lack of some proto AR wouldn’t even hurt the faction.

Imagine. My assaulter, his Tommy, and 400 bullets. bring enemies with ar, I don’t care, I’ll “brrrrrr” them away.

But.

Allies, must get it. It’s way more allies, than it is soviets.

Imagine if, BEFORE giving the ppsh41 to soviets, allies got it instead?

But if you want to get down to it, they could just add the BSA Welgun, Austen Mk. I, and Sten Mk. II to the tech tree like they did with the M2 Mortar.

The more the better, obviously. I’m always up to more lower br stuff. I just wanted allies to get what should be theirs, first… considering they don’t have an AR yet, that Sovs do (the best ones) and that they already had the best smg (ppsh41 drum).

What’s wrong with functional prototypes? I love all the obscure protos in the game. It’s one of my favorite aspects of it

I dont mind them as gold order BP, Events or Premiums. Tech tree not so much

  • Winchester 1894 (same as 1895 with an extra two rounds)

Etc …

All of these I’m still waiting for them to add. Out of this entire list only one is confirmed, And they can’t deliver almost a year later. Must be waiting for other content to drop alongside it.

Yes! They would. I’m still bent out of shape that they announced the super perishing and almost a year later haven’t delivered it lol There’s a lot of iconic equipment that they still have yet to add. Hopefully the next major update they start pumping out equipment like it’s going out of style.

Those 100 round Thompson being event and premium units is okay, US should get that new Soviet event Thompson but with 50 rounds and better mobility stats.

Allies should get that very one with 100 rounds.

No reason why, AGAIN, soviets get a better version of allies weaponry first.

The 100 rounds drum tommy is requested since forever.

Its just for me that I find those 100 round drums ridiculous, thats why I think it should be a event/ gold weapon.

You are of course right that Soviets shouldn’t get better Thompsons for no reason, but to make things interesting, the same Thomoson with a 50 drum as a TT unlock- with then even better stats, while the 100 round exact same gun as a gold order weapon.
