So I had customized some faces for my Axis Tunisia squads and now for some reason after this server update today the customized faces only show up in hangar and revert to pre-customized faces in-game. It might not seem like a big deal but I spent most of my appearance change orders on customizing squads and now they only are customized in hangar. Would be great if this glitch could be fixed!!

I am experiencing a similar problem, although I’m unsure if it is an issue from the latest release or if I just hadn’t noticed it.
I play US and after the Merge, I’ve unlocked some Commonwealth squads from the Mediterranean Theater. One of my pre-Merge soldiers from Normandy had been set up exactly the way I wanted him to be and I had changed his face. Whenever I send a squad with him in it to the Reserves, his face reverts to the default one and I have to change it back. That’s annoying and I wish it didn’t happen. But when I assign him to a Commonwealth squad, his face reverts back to the default and his real face is no longer available for me to select. It also is not in the list of faces for me to purchase again with an appearance change order. He has an entirely different list of faces to choose from and that is just really stupid. If the faces are going to be decided by nationality, the nationality should be assigned to the soldier rather than the squad.
It is extremely annoying.

I just checked, my Japanese squads are also affected. Same issue, appears customized in hangar but reverts back to pre - customized look in-battle

UPDATE: It appears to only occur in Custom Matches, very strange

Still no fix? Of course it’s not a game breaking bug, the devs probably have their hands full of other more meaningful things.

I don’t think it was fixed yet. Hopefully soon. I submitted a support request so hopefully they see it.

As you can see, the hangar image is my customized squad, specifically the circled soldier. The second screenshot is how the circled solider appears in battle. You can clearly see the face is not thr one I set in hangar. I tried repurchasing the desired face but still reverts back to this one. This is only one example, happens with all other customized soldiers too.

I have the exact same problem right now, and i know its not a huge deal but it really sucks cause i spent alot of time getting those cards onlt for them to work in the hanger. At first i thought thats just how it was, cause even the little icon that shows their face is still the default one after i got a new one. I really hope they fix this problem cause it happens to me in squad matches too it never changes.
