I know, it’s controversial.
The new lmg pack coming with the next update stirs a lot of ppl.
But historical representation and p2w arguments aside, I’m curious to know who would be interested in obtaining it.
I am myself, but 2 factors are holding me off a bit:
It’s expensive (those are just premium squads afterall)
I already got the Lewis marines and mg13 guys in Moscow (was on a big discount)
Those new squads, since they don’t come with their own slot (every premium should, but another debate) will just end up… replacing my Lewis and mg13 guys…
So I’m a bit at a loss. What will you guys do? Will you get the pack? Ignore it? And why?
I’m not interested in any “this is pay 2 win or this is a historical” arguments. We already heard them all. Just wanna know what ppl who sometimes buy this kind of squad think.
@Shiivex , @Scav_Sergei , I know you gentlemen buy some from time to time, what are your thoughts about it?
I will ignore it for a long time, even though I love the ducktape nature of the fedorov lmg. The price is too high. I am just sad that my mg30 premium squad has now lost even more relevance. It now has even less utility than a regular mg squad. Can’t build rallies, can’t build hmg, less squad members = big sad.
Honestly I just wish they integrated things like these into the battlepass as the final reward (For elite bp only of course since we know the devs behind Enlisted love their money)
new squads will always be better than old ones, old ones will be left on dust, and p2w grows.
what they “fixed” on obt , its getting pathetic as time goes
and all i wanted, was a simple engineer on old premiums.
that they cant add, even tho they added secondary slot to be grinded on future content.
honestly i hope its fun to play with, besides that i dont care much … more powerfull stuff will come in the future, there is nothing we can do.
my recomendation is to wait for the discount, honestly. its just a fedorov and a mg42. nothing that special for most.
Well I was overall excited for the pack but was shocked by the price. Like, seriously, 60 bucks? Before I hit the purchase button, i was like "oh yeah cool, 40-50 bucks, still a lot but it’s something new so why not. But 60?!
I will probably take it anyway but first reaction was “no no”.
I have Moscow maxxed out and the Soviet Marines are essentially the same premium squad but a different gun. Personally I would buy the Fedorov LMG squad in a heart beat for its uniqueness and “cool” factor but only if I could get it separate. Too bad for me at least, I’m a Fedorov nerd since first using it in BF1
Remember mg30 squad? That got replaced by mg13 squad with engy? That gets now replaced again…
But I still have hope. Maybe after enough powerful content gets released, they will revisit older premiums and give them what they need, as to sell them again…
Russian playerbase whined (threw a crying fit of rage) after Stalingrad weaponry specs got imported everywhere.
So devs boosted it.
Now it hits like a truck, has almost no recoil, is better than any semi auto cause 15 bullets, has more ammo reserve… and can now fire full auto reliably at medium range.
