Every single thing, is harder to use and less intuitive.
Upgrades are horrendous. It’s hard to see what the lineal path is, and you can’t tell whether you’ve upgraded something or not.
Moving squad loadouts to a different menu from being able to start a battle is terrible. The old way of being able to change loadouts from the main screen was perfect, and should never have been changed.
The colour scheme is weird, and unintuitive. The colours are strange and not aesthetically pleasing.
The previous store menu was way better, no idea why that was changed.
The army select is smaller and tucked away in the corner, this will be confusing for new people. It was perfectly fine where it was from the start.
The battle pass and ordinary weapons have been segregated, when there was absolutely no need to do that. From a UX point of view, there was no intelligible reason behind convoluting such a benign section.
That took me two seconds to mock up, and already I’ve created a better UI/UX than a multi-million dollar company.
The whole thing needs to be re-done. And while you’re at it, you might aswell give me the job of your lead UI/UX developer because they’re wasting your money.
Its just kinda off somehow. its like youre putting a new modern shooter UI over the traditional ww2 feel. It just doesnt feel right. its just so busy and hard to navigate. It reminds me of the ARMA 3 home screen if you have a ww2 mod activated in the background.
Yep, not a fan. I agree with all the criticisms above. I can live with most of the changes, but the upgrade screen is just… it makes me feel like I have a brain disease. I have genuine trouble seeing what is going on.
Also, what are those huge buttons for? Why does Enlisted look like a mobile game now? Looks cheap. Do we have to worry about crossplay with mobile users in the future?
And why is there still not a chat funtionality in the main menu? The new UI would have been the perfect opportunity to implement that. I can’t even write to people in my friends list. That’s ridiculous.
one thing I noticed right away, is that there is no real indicator that you have unlocked all squad upgrades anymore, makes it complicated to see if you still have unlockable option available.
There is a barely visible indicator “9/10” or “2/8” etc. in the top right corner of every upgrade page. But you first have to tab into each page to see it. Again, it looks very cheap. The old solution was more functional and looked better.
@EdVanSchleck & @Shiivex since we can count on you guys, there is this weird thing about new UI that was very confusing at first and I think devs should look into it and correct it. This happens for all squads everywhere in the game.
I agree. I think they were focusing far too hard on trying to imitate COD that they didn’t really consider that the old layout was fine for the most part.
I’m not a fun either.
I don’t mind how it looks but functionally it’s basically the same UI we had but things were moved and rotated a bit. Also it’s not any easier to understand, just as confusing as the old one was at the beggining.
