New to game

Hi all, not sure if this is where to ask, but here goes anyway.

First of all, I am very new to PC gaming in general, usually I would just be one of those silent players no one knows or hears about or posts etc. etc., but this game has me frustrated to the point of thinking should I continue with it.
I love the game but playing as a solo player is extremely frustrating, no team work no communication between players nothing, when people ask for targets I mark what I can and try to keep that mark up till its destroyed, but upon asking for targets or rally points which I put up on my engineer when possible, I am met with silence and not help or nothing which is sad :frowning:

Is there any clans/guilds or whatnot for this game or community to find like-minded players?

Guess you could ask from mess room at forums, probably you would have better luck on discord.

And new matchmake is being made which hopefully solves alot of issues.

Yep you are not the only one, who noticed it.
Teamplay nearly doesnt exist at all.

In most cases due to non existant matchmaking, you already can count like if the enemy has more players with special symbols then your own team, prepare to lose in most cases.

They need like a chat system in War Thunder before the match, where you have a global chat or something.

What kind of players are you looking for exactly?

My best advice to you is to go Enlisted Discord, there you’ll find several servers or clans that play Enlisted

Thank you all for the reply, I am casual gamer but I enjoy playing the game alot, I recently became retired and have a lot of time to kill(people, ingame I mean dont that that to serious)
Im just looking for people that want to play as a team as the game is meant to be played.
Again I am new to the who gaming thing and PC, I was told to find a hobby and this is what I went with!
As for discord no idea what it is.

Discord is pretty much the PC version of a phone and is how everyone generally chats with one another. You can voice/video chat with people, join different communities and official channels all for free. It is pretty legit, and you should check it out if you haven’t heard of it before.

Best to join discord, there is no clans as far as I am aware off.

Not true, there are loads of clans, I’m in one, we have active players daily, but I don’t want to get banned advertising it on here!

Welcome to the forum and to the game!

One problem is that console players can’t read or write. Only use their preset commandos.

As people already stated, you should try Discord.

If you were able to get Enlisted up and running you should be able to figure out how Discord works as well : )

Haha funny you say that, my Son built the computer and set it up for me including installing the games on it … lol … but I am all for learning new stuff, never say you cant teach an old dog new tricks :slight_smile:
I will look into getting this discord thing.

I do not control my team mate with words, I use rally. Everything will go more smooth when you understand most people act like they are suicidal Lemmings.

Build rally,
Put en engineer in every squad,
Destroy the tanks yourself don’t expect people do it for you, they are Lemmings.
Have at least 2 squads with a one rocket launcher dude,
Recruit troops to have the 16 vitality perk,
flammenwerfer are cheated and not a lot of people have noticed it,
and also…

There’s a definite hierarchy of competence in the game - you can have great games as a solo if ther are 3-4 reasonably competent people on your team - it takes very little effort to co-ordinate - a few well chosen comments is all it really needs every now and then.

Then there’s the other 90% of games…
