New tierlist looks... fine I guess?

But the issues are, from what I`ve noticed:

  1. VG 2 being overtiered is a meme I guess, Armaguerra deserves its place in early 3 tier much more, should just swap these.
  2. Grenade launcher rifles are again too low on tierlist, the thing is as soon as one get a gr.l. rifle, there is no insetive to use any other bolt action, should be put at tier 3 right where bolt actions end, so player would have to choose between grenade launcher or semi-auto, I myself have a few riflemen with launchers, even though they occupy a specialist slot, regular bolt-actions wont do.
  3. M1 Garand tier 4, dear God, tier 3 at max.
  4. Jagdpanzer 4 tier 5 while Panther is tier 4, Jagdpanzer 4 is awful and practically unusable due to mg nest location and BAD aim, should be swapped with Panther, which is just a better version.
  5. Type Hei rifle too high, it is not that good with its mediocre accuracy and 5 bullet mag, should be swapped with grenade launcher rifle, Type Hei would be a nice option for new Jap players at tier 2, while not being better than fully maxed Ross rifle.

And I mean that is what I`ve noticed after 5 minutes of looking at it, still it is great improvement since the last one (anything would be better tbh), looks somewhat sane, hope it would not take years to research.

The list is just order of unlocks. They havent assigned a BR yet

So we have no idea about balance yet

(E.g something in tier 3 can have a lower BR than something in tier 2)

It IS about ranking and order of unlocks, last one didnt have any br values either, but was a complete joke, anyway you cant unlock a grenade launcher rifle being at 5.0 br on rank 2 for example, while other equipment on that rank is 3.0, you`ve unlocked it, but you dont have anything to back it up.

Youre right they havent said anything solid. I just feel like they said BR is independant of tier, in which case it would be like warthunder.

Not much to worry about yet. Only real concern is where stuff lands BR wise…tier list is whatever

Br difference between the highest br of previous rank compared to the lowest of the next one is usually not that high, except of Japanese Ginga and other bombers, so even in this case it is more about the ranks until the brs are dropped.

and here i thought there were just 5 separated matchmaking for each tier instead of ending up having uptiers / downtiers

Originally i thought they were balancing MM with tiers, i did ask in the first draft thread if it was just tiers and not BR but didnt get a response.

But since they have now said BR is independant of tiers, this tier list is pretty inconsequential

I agree about unlock places, but it doesn’t matter that much

  • UNLESS it is tied EVEN SLIGHTLY to future battle rating.

Strange that things like p38 pistol is tier 3, but TT and luger unlock tier 5… shouldn’t have tiers at or all fit in tier 1 or 2.

But, howcan you say HEI is inaccurate? Isn’t it one of the most accurate semis in game?

Well, all semis, or any rifle really is inaccurate unless upgraded.

The HEI is the most accurate of those however, and thanks to it’s complete lack of recoil and clear iron sight, is an head shot machine.

I prefer Otsu for fast dump and fast reload, but that’s preference.

Yep, I was always preferred Hei over Otsu. But since fake garand was released, I am using only those
