The panther is cheated:

If you strugle to kill a Jumbo, pro tip:
Aim at the machin gunner, after around 3 shot it penetrate.
If it doesn’t work, just break is track and aim at something else, your armor is so strong you can ignore most of allies tanks, even Jumbos if they are far enough.

Finally I would like a Tiger in Normandy, but it will cheated. Allied need something to counterbalance it. While the panther is already too unbalance in favor of the germans.

No we dont need them, in fact we need to remove the panther and jumbo, they currently hold no place in this campaign.

Jumbo should be replaced by sherman 76 and the panther by a jagdpanzer IV or Jagtpanther.

Give all the shermans APHE

Oh yes Jumbo can easily one shot panther with its unmeasurable power of the AP shell, WHICH LITERALLY DOES FUCKING NOTHING.

I use the M4A2 BTW because jumbo feels like cheating to me, and it absolutely needs APHE to kill the panther. Sometimes i would flank the panther and pen its side, it would only slightly damage something.

So jumbo can stay shit, while the M4A2 needs a APHE shell

So, let me get this straight. OP says he is having trouble penning the Jumbo with the Panther (In what world? You know what nevermind, lets move on), and thus he asks for the Tiger 1, which has less pen than the Panther.

@W4rPig @40946585 according to the parameters used in War Thunder, the 75mm of the Panther has slightly better armor penetration than Tiger’s 78, thanks to higher muzzle velocity.
