When I was going through the campaigns for russia I noticed a lack of summer campaigns for the Russians and the only one they do have is exclusive for high br
So personally I would to see a new campaign for Russia where they fight in the summer and get a shake up on the weather they get
Battle of Brest 1941
During Operation Barbarossa the German army have encountered a old fortress named Brest Fortress after a week of fighting and destroying most of structures inside the Germans have taken over the fortress
Also I think the design of the fortress of itself in 1941 is quite unique for a map where the fortress layout is unique enough to also mix up the gameplay more
Id love to see it, personally I think Sevastopol would be a great choice too. Hell Leningrad even, all had interesting fortifications that could be incorporated into the map design.
Like Sevastopol in particular has some great variation,
From armoured trains (could be static, not saying we return the escort mode)
To the harbour itself, which could include sunken/scuttled ships at moor, mixing some great industrial vibes with the more “ocean” view maps we normally see in the pacific maps.
And this goes without talking about everything in-between, Fort Stalin comes to mind for sure.
I personally don’t put too much importance if it’s a summer setting or not, although I do would like an early Barbarossa battle. I just want something else besides the standard rotation of Moscow/Stalingrad/Berlin.
Rzhev is a great map, but I’ve been waiting to see the other side of the map for a while now. Currently it feels incomplete and the far away unaccessible areas seem more interesting, from a distance.
If what Mortarion said is true, that’d be very disappointing as an Enlisted player. So much potential new maps would be wasted with that decision.
But would probably require a whole new set of cosmetics for early war Soviet and German uniforms, as the ones we have now are either winter clothes (Moscow) or late war stuff (Berlin).
