Let’s start with the first level of the campaign and you’ve got pure professionals that you can’t do anything against. I don’t have the right equipment or the right soldiers to beat them. They’ve got 10 levels in the campaign and they’re loaded with more powerful weapons, professional tanks.
They recently changed the rank system and they really screwed it up. I think the developers should change this immediately because it’s going to be an unenjoyable boring game and full of poetica and it would be a mistake to spoil half a game from the beginning.
I think the solution is simple enough to cut the players in half based on the rank system. First of all, people should be able to play with each other up to levels 1-10 so that beginners have a chance to improve. Second, I would let the other half of the people play up to 11-20 levels because they already have the professional weapons and the soldiers are excellent , so they can fight a real battle and not attack the newbies.
Rank dont do nothing, the game is always like this noob/newbee aganaist veteran, and keofox already hinted the dev are thinking some matchmaking with rank
that is exactly what i’ve been thinking about, i think it would balance out the game extremely well as it would keep max level tryhards from farming low level players.
this system works exceptionally well in war thunder, and not having it would essentially result in matchmaking a panzer II against a IS 2
Dude, I seriously loved that one response, “Why should I be punished for playing with my friends?!” Like, the level of logic disconnect in that statement.
I honestly don’t mind playing against high leveled individuals, it’s when they began to sweat it gets annoying. Anyone can sweat, even low levels can bunny hope and spam SMGS.
I draw the fun line at : artillery constantly bombing points, planes suicide bombing every 20 seconds, two tanks greyzone camaping shelling the cap, and rest of inftantry rushing into greyzone throwing 3 detpacks with every dude.
Then sprinkle in some mortars and you got perfect cancer cake. I would rather gouge my eyes out than play screen shake and dying simulator.

its so dishearting to know that if i dont win i lose something, YES i know that it is only a little picture but i see it as a "“sorry your not good enough”
im utterly disgusted with this ranking system and it is ruining the game for me

I know this sounds like something a child would say but let me explain I have been playing enlisted for a year now and I never had trouble dealing with tanks and infantry the guns in this game are not unbalanced like people say they are as often even with an SMG a good hit with a bolt action rifle will almost always 1 shot down (maybe even kill) from close to mid range grenades are not that hard to figure out and professionals are not the common in games with each game maybe only having 1 or 2 of them
really the professionals would be able to do good in games with the same guns and tanks as newbies its really all just about experience
I’m Rank 22 and I face players with the Jumbo tank several times, instead of thinking this is unfair, I just learned to do maneuvers to eliminate him
What do I do, when I don’t surprise the enemy, I leave the tank at a 45° angle to have chances of ricochet, then I try to destroy the jumbo’s tracks, as soon as I do that I warn the team that the Jumbo is out of tracks, with that normally the team attacks him
I think this is about adaptation, you learn new combat tactics. I myself can do a lot of kills with the panzer IV against Firefly and Jumbo
All good and fair, but to be honest with you, the jumbo player had 31 kills for 9 squads deaths. On a 21 min match.

He wasn’t even an issue to begin with on your example. He could even stay alive all match and would make your team experience even easier.
They tried to mix the concept of veteran with a ranking system and the end result is weird. I mean it’s funny to see generals fighting on the front line. I don’t see how the ranks of a command structure have anything to do with the combat experience in this game.
i still leave matching, in fact this update has allowed me to see if im playing against a full team of sweaty try hards and then i leave without even spawning in
