New progression system suggestion

The biggest problem with enlisted is progression and leveling. Devs always try to add new content by expanding levels thus causing a long and painful grind.
Players get bored after playing so much to unlock a guns they won’t even use or a weapon they already have in other campaigns

I’m proposing a better solution. Why don’t we have a proggression system where players can choose which paths to take and what gun to unlock

EXAMPLE 1

In this example, you can choose if you want to grind the mortar or the tank squad first. So if you are bad with mortars but good with tanks, then you won’t need to grind the mortar

Example 2

In this example, I will show a possible rework to too much leveling and grind
Here are 2 end-game weapons

Both PPSh and Fedorov are strong guns but they fit different playstyles so why not add something like this and give players an option to choose which gun they want to unlock
Of course if a player chooses one option he should still be able to unlock the other option later but it will take time

This! I would love to see this implemented in Enlisted. It’ll make my experience much better.

This is how devs should be adding new stuff but that isn’t super strong, for example the new tanks in Normandy, it should have been this way.

The issue that I have with this system is that it discourages picking and using non-meta equipment. I honestly don’t have any issue with the way it currently works.

But if someone unlocks a gun or a class they won’t use that means they are not going to use it

There are many players who just ignore non-meta equipment and never use them

This system won’t affect that, it will only speed up the grind
