Tbh the main use for the prem squads is to push/defend
They aren’t versatile, but they serve their purpose
Except for the whales who now have to drop $1000 to club everyone at the start and be even at the end instead of $90 to club everyone 24/7 lol

Premium squads should be laterally comparable to normal squads, not inferior in every possible way.

True. I currently dont use the premium assault squads due to the lack of flex (no engineers) and find 7 assaults to be excessive

In the beginning yes theyll be very useful. Once your normal squad is up to par theyll be in the trash bin lol
I do worry they’ll be a bit weak but I’m 100% certain they’ll buff them if they “aren’t as good”
we’ve now swung to the other side of the pendulum and made them pointless to buy other than wanting a unique gun skin to use while you negatively impact your team’s chance of winning by taking a small fire team instead of a big squad.
And again, since premium squads are no longer able to train new troops, the grind to get a good squad up and running has now exponentially increased, incentivizing spending more on getting past the grind wall.
Yall got war thundered and asked for it.

Only 4 soldier available in premium squad, 5 to 9 soldier available in ordinary squad.
Maybe not much different if i play invasion,but in hardpoint i can only send 10 squad in total.

Or maybe they did this nerf because those squads were destroying all other squads in the statistics they had? Lets wait and see how they perform in OBT before saying theyre 100% worse. Also, when all other squads are getting nerfs to size and composition as well (besides trooper) we really can’t say how they will be cause its going to be a completely different game in regards to squad performance

You’ll be tanking your survivability and ability to stay in a fight for a “unique weapon skin”
Instead of having 7 different ammo pools to choose from you’ll have 4
instead of being able to train troops you’ll have none.
Instead of having 7 potential lives on the battlefield you’ll have 4, a grenade can wipe your entire squad.

4 assaulters in premium assaulter squads
7 soldiers, only 3 of which assaulter, in normal assaulter squads.
Premium squad gets +1 assaulter.
Again, look at all the stats
And once again, the point where normal soldiers will be better than premium squads is months away. Until the point you max out all progression, they will outperform normal soldiers.

Like I said before, I’m not against giving them possibility to train troops as long as we keep ourselfs away from fully SMG and LMG squads. If they get four standard trooper slots - sure, why not.
But saying that you weaken your team by bringing four fully upgraded SMGs or LMGs when standers squads will have only respectively 3 and 2 of them is definetely not right. Premium squads will still remain powerful tool, especialy for starting players. But they will luckily no longer offer anything better than what F2P players can get.
Uhh then why do they have M2 Hydes???
