New premium squad to be added tomorrow + squad nerfs

I have official confirmation of a new premium squad coming tomorrow. I do not know what it will be, but I am guessing Normandy LMG squad. However, they will also be nerfing them:

you will not be able to add new soldiers or change their size and composition in any way. Unlike regular squads, that can grow in size and composition while progressing and leveling up.

Aka max 4 soldiers

Also in Premium Squads, the sum of the characteristics of the soldiers (vitality, weapon handling and speed) which affect their ability to get new perks, will not exceed the sum of regular soldiers. Meaning, soldiers in Premium Squads will still be able to get the best perks of each type, but not all of the best perks at once.

Aka, nerf to perk capacity

The aforementioned changes will be applied to all premium squads, including those already purchased.

The next changes will apply to new premium squads:

As for new Premium Squads planned for introduction in the shop, they will be formed of soldiers of the 4th rank. And currently, you will not be able to train them to the next rank. However, all existing premium squads purchased during the CBT and beforehand will remain as 5th rank squads.

This is probably the best change made so far in enlisted. GJ devs!

My thoughts is that I will go, collect some goats, sacrifice them to the gods and hope they will be relatively balanced.

MG squads are overpowered as hell, since they mow down the AI like crazy and you get FOUR MGs per premium squad. Not to mention $30 for a single squad is way too expensive. All MG squads should be removed from the store instantly in order to save this mess of a monetization system.

If they don’t revise their plans for monetization this game will be dead in the water.

At this point I’m fully expecting a Finnish KV-1B squad for $60 in May for the Axis.

I cant even get more than 2 LMGs out of the random lotto weapons draw let alone the soldiers to carry them

no. thay are nerfing ALL premium squads. No more 7 soldiers… only 4 and they are not any better then regular soldiers

I actually liked sticking some standard soldiers with my premiums to train them faster like crew members essentially. I dont like that they’re removing that feature

Vitality perk sitll remains sadly.

“The two currently active Machine Gunner Premium Squads for the “Battle of Moscow” campaign will remain on the PC store until April 15th, and will then be removed and replaced with an appropriate squad containing soldiers of the 4th rank.”
Is it what I think it is? Premium lmg squads will have 4 star soldiers? Or I don’t understand?

New premium squads will be maxed at 4 stars and cannot be leveled up, yes. That’s what it seems to be.

Unique guns and 4 IV lvl soldiers. I wouldn’t be against giving them back possibility to add more soldiers as far as they would not be full SMG or LMG squads like before. It is better now - premium should be unique, not give advantage only for paying.
