After playing the Soviet vs Japan event it has made me realize the need for a new gaming mode in Enlisted. While playing this event, you can easily fulfil your daily BP requirements without being penalized for ranking points. I find this great for playing thr MP40 event (I don’t know why people are complaing about as it’s free weapons that you can easily finish requirements for while playing the other event or BP) and completing awards/achievements without worrying about losing rank points for losing the match. I think this play style should be allowed to be selected when players are trying to complete event or daily tasks. It is kind of infuriating playing regular matches trying to rank up towards Marshal but the players in you game are running around with a knife to complete melee kills or everyone runs off to be a sniper to fulfil headshots, while NOT playing the objective. Some games you know you have your lowest chances when you see the few real players that are playing play in the above manner.
If developers are worried it will thin out the amount of real players for these matches, at least add more points to be won…one for a win and one for a Battle Hero should be upped. You shouldn’t only break even in a losing match while winning a stack of Battle Hero awards.
because typically, events award something more substantial than a tech tree gun with a different texture
Could have atleast given officer swords that has use on all BR’s.
And generally, the event rewards makes 0 sense.
The mkb 9000 or what ever BR2 gun it was, definitely wasnt worth the ~2weeks it required to get.
And right after it u could again obtain M2 stingers in similar easy event as you can get Mp40’s now.
on the topic of this winter Mp40, its going to feel wrong to use in so many campaigns such as normandy or tunisia or berlin
If we were going to reskin a tech tree gun, I would have preferred the MP40 with a folded stock, some bandage wraps, maybe some kill tallies etched into it, something that’s more universally applicable to every campaign setting
id say generally this reskinning a TT gun and calling it as a reward is lazy as fk.
Rather throw 2-3 fully upgraded Mp40’s for 7th & 9th reward.
Atleast that way a newplayer could have something relatively useful from the event.
This reskinned mp40 hardly is a reward for anyone.
