New Players Need Random Bronze Order Troopers

I’ve been trying to get more people into this game. The primary complaint I hear is that they can’t fill there squads out in a reasonable amount of time and feel dramatically under equipped. Even people who loves the game are hesitant to start new campaigns due to this.

All of us like the game and had no real complaints until bronze trooper orders were no longer able to roll random troops. Personally I have no issues, as I was playing with the Academy, but for people that don’t have 1 million reserve troops it is hard.

We definitely like how it is over the Academy, but that being said… 1 level 5 trooper is not really equal to 2-3 extra guys in a squad.

I even did an assessment on the rate of troopers being available. These guys are average quality (4th-6th place) players. It takes them an average of 4hrs in matches to get the orders they need to even fill out squads on new campaigns.

Please consider reverting this or providing easier to obtain silver troop orders.

why is the basic riflemen the same cost as a specialist?
As a newer player, this is not helping. It seems I have missed out on the “glory days”
because I only ever have 2-3 bronze orders at a time and I am hurting for soldiers to fill squads sometimes.
The real problem for me is the slow rate of unlocks for each squad.
I have to accept that a new squad is going to be virtually useless for a long time and THAT is the big thing holding back new player progress.

I would never recommend it to new players since the academy change. It’s been nearly two months since they broke economy for new players. They got many good suggestions from players but so far only announced 1 Silver order = 50,000 XP which means, basically no change for new players. They get first silver orders roughly at level 5 at campaign and then 1 every 1-2 levels, till level 9. Just imagine playing with assault squad with one smg assaulter, sniper squad with one sniper, and rifle squad with nearly half the strength and at level 5 when you unlock several new squads, you will be able to purchase one new weapon and one soldier. It is ridiculous how they treat new players. It is clearly balanced for end level but new players need to get some care too or they would not stay for long. Let alone if they would like to play more than one faction/campaign.

kinda bad that players have been without a way to get soldiers for such along time. Sad its been allowed to go on for this long.

I imagen it has put many players off the game.

I mostly play allies on Normandy because if i gave another engineer to my axis squad I wont have an order to get next one in my allied squad

I’m a total noob, I left FPS games years ago, and only playing solo FPS games because the cost to keep a PC up to date is very expensive. Ok so I really like WWII games and this game has so much good things I am playing. But I don’t want to put $$ into it, I been playing 8 or 9 days approx 4-5 hours and I can’t get any new weapons, I averaging 10-18 kills per game which is low but hey its enough to keep me involved. Playing against players loaded with weapons and many full squads, is just plain unfair. The game is so tilted toward paying players to get better weapons equipment squads. They really need to revamp the system. For 1 I would pay a monthly subscription free or $3-5 as long as i can keep getting better weapons and squads, obviously at a slower rate than people willing to pay through the nose high $$, the rate of upgrades should be 2.5x faster than new player paying nothing and grinding, and a 2nd subscription level for $9 a month gaining new weapons and equip at 4x faster rate. The full paying $$30-40 should only be 5x faster max. Also the bait and switch I see get to level 5 and I should be able to get a M1 Carbine, but I can’t. If playing unlocks weapons then unlock it and let me get don’t advertise i get this then can’t unless I pay gold.

It would be enough to let players still buy basic riflemen 1 with bronze. That alone would allow new players to at least populate their squads with manpower, and save precious silver for specialists.
