Experience does not equal intelligence and ability
My friend was able to finish 3rd in a level 3 environment using a level 1 rookie squad after 3 games
He is the holder of medals for best medic and rifleman
So they have medics as an option for early close combat.
Maybe they just need to learn not to walk in a straight line
But their understanding is still limited to FPS competition.
That’s why they keep getting slaughtered like idiots
I think a better approach would be to allow newcomers to unlock most low-level gear within the first 5 games.
1
Corps of Engineers
2
anti-tank regiment
3
Airplane group
4
All individual soldiers equipment
5
All handgun purchase rights
I still haven’t forgiven him for setting up ammo boxes and firing hundreds of mortar rounds at me during my CBT days.Well, I think mortars are fine as they are.
I don’t think
Because he is one of the people in CS who has difficulty saving money to buy a gun.
He only learned to use terrain protection and detours in those 3 games.
But I think the biggest reason is probably because the abilities and intelligence of the other 7 people in the 3rd game are even lower than that of a newcomer who has only played 3 games.
I don’t know how many Mortar kills I had, but it was somewhere between 30 and 50 I would estimate. So, those who think Mortars are worthless, think again. On the right maps used at the right times, they are very effective.
