It occured to me that a lot of the imbalance comes from new players congregating on one or two particular armies - probably Normandy, Tunisia or Pacific allies from what I can tell. I know it was a while before I played any axis or anything more unusual - assuming the familiar sides would mean an easier intro.
Why not introduce a series of new player tasks to get new players kick started. Offer particularly more xp boosters but also weapon/troop orders - just for simple things like trying every campaign, building rallies, capturing points, levelling up soldiers and weapons, enlsiting troops/buying equipment - the basics.
I know we have the 16 first battle rewards - but expand it, make it more prominent - turn it into some form of induction/tutorial to help learn the game and different game modes. Help new players be more than just target practice up against experienced sides.
I imagine new players opt for one of the obvious choices and just get stomped and never really get going enough to see how good this game can be. Also would at least soften the grind until new players get into the game - although I know we all need that too.
I would make the frist battle bonuses for each army, so when you play the frist matches of any faction/Theatre you will win they again.
more tasks like building the frist rally point or even the machine gun nest (not necessary of they need to be in the beguining of the game) will be great
i see that extra resourcers/XP must come in order to encourage playing multiply thethers to the comunity enjoy all the content in Enlisted. Also to many theathers are a problem now, it might not be if a XP bonuse come in this way of thinking

Ofc I agree. While it’s true being difficult makes ppl better players… the game when I started was much easier than now. I started and there was 2 campaigns, with around 20 lvls. Being high lvl was real easy.
Harder now. New players feel like it’s impossible to reach the latest unlocks…
