New pistols for each faction

These are some new pistols I think would be perfect for each factions.

FB vis 35
Used by both Soviet forces and German forces after capture of these weapons during conflicts with Poland. Roughly 49, 000 of these pistols were made out of the 90,000 order. The Russian models that were captured were renumbered and reworked. The Germans took over the factory within Poland that created these weapons so both factions use these.

As far as I can find the volkspistole was only produced in an unknown amount between 12 and 24. A possible gold order?

That whole 0.06” change really did help. Lol

The artillery luger is already a gimmick, buying a normal pistol with no benefiets with a gold order is pointless

How about new pistol for japan?
Japanese type 26 revolver. Produced before the world war I but continued its service until the end of wwii!

I suggest this since theres no revolver for germany and japan (so any suggestions for german revolver?)

I fully support the type 26 revolver. I honestly feel like every nation should have a revolver. The only ones that have them now are the Soviets and the Americans/British (Western Allies). I’ve done extensive research on all the different weapons and equipment each nation could have so I’m quite familiar with the type 26.

It’s not German but it would fit due to the Germans having Italian equipment in their tree.
This is the bodeo 1889 revolver.

They also had another revolver called the Lebel modele 1892.

This revolver was captured from the French, while the previous revolver was designated “revolver 680 (i)” this one was designated “revolver 637 (i)”. So that gives the Germans a few picks in terms of adding a revolver to their sidearms.

British 38/200, is almost identical to 38 special. It’s the same ammo they used in the Webley MK IV, and the Enfield pistol. They just had a weird way of naming their ammo.

Its possible because there are currently regular, buyable german weapon being a captured weapon, specially the MAS-36.

You forgot the Kongsberg 1911 for Germany. They even got the factory that produced them.

If sovs can use the German broomhandle, axis could have a 1911 of their own

The FN Hi power currently in allies inventory should also be available to axis, as they captured early on the Belgium factory producing them.

It was widely used:

@Shiivex also used one when he was cool before he regressed into a cat :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats the leftover sh!t from the stalingrad campaign.
So they cant removed it
You can see all the mess on the bug report forum it has caused when they removed the breda mod 38 for the soviets

If you really think about it though the Germans had access to every pistol ever made, much like the Soviets the Germans were kleptomaniacs. So it’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility. One reason why I said the FB Vis would be perfect for them, they took over a production factory that made that semi-automatic pistol. The only reason why the Soviets got their hands on some of them and there’s no official number on how many they obtained was because they hit the factory around the same time when both were sieging Poland.

Not leftover. Sovs DID use that piece extensively.

That would make for an interesting pistol, and that would give the Germans something similar to the 1911.
Magazine: 7+1 in the chamber
Using .45 APC

Good find on a factory the Germans took over production on. So far I think each of these are really good additions. I’ve seen a few posts in various forums about world war II sidearms That’s what gave me the idea for a few of these weapons and pushed me to do the research.

@James_Grove
Has there been any talk of new sidearms for any of the factions?

British trying to not use some stupid naming system. Their best contribution to designations was “Lee,” “Sherman,” and I’d assume “Stuart” starting the tradition of naming our equipment after various things. Tanks are famous military leaders. Helicopters are Native tribes. Ship names were already as they are now, states and famous leaders. I am genuinely blanking out on other naming schemes. Lol. Our planes are just kinda named whatever and is determined by the manufacturer, but dang I love that we occasionally reuse old names. Waiting to see a Mustang II

People would just reeee that it wouldn’t have a BR.

.38/200 was the British designation of .38 S&W, the only difference is the powder load and bullet weight. The 200 came from the weight of the bullet, 200 gr. Which was almost the same as the “Super Police” version of the cartridge.

Wrong .38/200 wasn’t almost identical, it was identical, just not to .38 Special but to .38 S&W.
.38 Special is not the same as .38 S&W.
.38 Special is 9x29mmR
.38 S&W is 9×20mmR

The difference is substantial.
