The Italians would have the Beretta M38 (early), which has would have a 30 round mag and due to it having a bayonet lug, as the Carcano M38(7.35) rifle would would hold the bayonet as that rifle and would be a BR 2 squad.
The Australian para squad would be the SMLE Jungle Carbine, which is one of three carbine models Australia made from their SMLEs, and used the standard SMLE bayonet with it and be probably br 3.

Yeah all the Lee enfields are utterly useless on BR3 in the current format. Which sucks, since I have almost zero chance of getting Tunisia with them.
the MAB 38 with bayonet was exclusive to PAI agents (excluding those captured or reused) so I’d rather see it for them rather than paratroopers as it would make more sense

Okay they do be looking drippy tho they can still get it like a smaller or bigger mag also we have a PAI gun in the game it’s a good order (which is bs tbh)

I’m aware of that Jungle Carbine but also I wouldn’t prefer that specific model to be in a Para squad it can be a researchable gun or another event/prem gun

that weapon has never been used by the PAI but by other police units such as the Guardia Forestale/forest ranger
(technically they still use it but only in parades or oaths)

Italians could work but the Aussies need to stay out otherwise the Americans will have 5 paratrooper squads in the game they can spam and Japan needs 2 more paratrooper squad to be even with some of the other factions.
I believe the MAB38 PAI should be for a PAI squad
while the MAB with bayonet should be both for the TT (perhaps as a modification of the already existing 40-shot MAB as already happens for numerous rifles) and for an event/premium squads (after all we already have examples of recycled weapons for premiums and events so I don’t see any problems)
that’s a 91/38 carcano (both mine and yours)
the M41 carcano is much larger and abandons the changes introduced with the Mod. 38 and looks a lot like the first Mod. 91
