Is there any plan to improve the preset system? It is still not one click to switch BR currently.
Some suggestion: How to Use Preset Efficiently or Improve It?

This is very comprehensive. But I still have a couple of questions?
How exactly will Italy and Britain fit in?
IF you have unlocked assaulter II squad for USA in Pacific and assaulter II in Normandy I assume you will have two different squads. Is this correct? It seems so based on the post. However, in the future will you still have to grind two different USA assaulter II squads? If so… why would you want to?
Thanks for your assistance.
Also the old Premium squads without an engineer NEED AN ENGINEER. MAKE THIS HAPPEN… it will be a nice reward for those of us who have spent hard cash to support this gam.e
There must be one slot with subslots for premiums and if u press, it must be include(popup in battle) every premium squad you have
Meh.
They shouldn’t restrict it
yea i know i am the minority that doesn’t like it being spammed
Will current gold weapons, tanks and soldiers which you can obtain with gold orders continue to be obtainable after the update?
Seems late for the post.
I think you choose the way of keeping all existing squads and their squad progression trees untouched right? So, even if some one unlocked multiple Tanker I squads, he will able to take ALL of them to battle. Is that correct?
And how will you going to deal with different squads researching for the same classification of soldiers levels & Weapon levels???
Does this means you are going to transfer campaign progression XP for repeated campaign levels?
To Research Points?
For repeated unlocked vehicles, are they going to shared usability across corresponding squads right? And we gonna keep like two T-34s available to use at different squads at the same time right?
About weapon pricing. Now different campaigns have different price of weapons. Like M1 Garand has different price in different campaigns, which price will be used in the future?
How about premium squads’ customization???
E.g. Some Tunis premium squads, or Pacific premium squads. Are you going to set a different set of uniforms?
How will you calculate or displaying “discontinued” progression tree after the conversion? Like, some one only unlocks late war stuffs, but entry levels are not unlocked/researched. How will you let them to research other stuffs? From the scratch, or from their levels?
How will you going to deal with existing tons of squads? After the merge, seems we will have too many squads for only I~IV soldier classification, and not much for weapon upgrade research. Will you still going to release squads as main contents (besides event’s squads)?
so will britian and italy be their own faction or will they just be a sub faction of US and germany respectfully?
Sub for now…
Hopefully split eventually.
Sub
will it be available only for people who played Stalingrad enough to get one, or this squad will be represented as “Assault engineers”?
Besides the conversion issues.
What about the fairness of new BR?
What if someone just get only one new weapons with higher BR, or some poor newbies bought a very high BR premiums. And his rest of equipments are rather poor.
This is not WT. Quantity matters more of existence. A single high BR (or high power) stuff really cant do much in FPS game.
Also, about the ability to purchase stuff (with silver orders) is more important than having them.
It’s not WT, where you only need ONE tank of that model/type. In enlisted, one STG is not significant at all.
I prefer some average squad’s/weapons BR. Also you need to consider how many of them per players. A 3-soldiers sniper squads with only one MKB42 is far poorer than 9-soldiers rifle squads with SVTs.
Also, really, why BR? What about player’s ranks? A newbie with high BR stuff is absolutely weaker than some quad stacked veteran with lower BR equipments (also veteran may know to fit exactly for the same BR, to maximize the BR rating number)
Please forgive me if I insist, but I think this is rather important for all to avoid misunderstandings:
Thank you for news, are we going to be able to earn XP in customs, will you give us what we have now as dedicated server rooms in customs please?
Not sure about moroccans in other non Tunisia maps, that is the kind of stuff that will stop me playing, I’m pretty OCD to be fair!
Fairness is still for automatic weapons and explosives, once they continue nerf all fire and explosives, fairness will be completely dominated by automatic weapons.
even with low BR, 3x assault squads are still stronger than 9 men bolt action rifles much. In all BRs you can still see suicide missiles falling from the sky against camped tanks hiding in gray areas.
Equip as many automatic weapons and various grenades as possible
This means you can still hold your PPD, MP34, MP38, FNAB, etc in low BR and happily do all the chip harvesting activities. It does not produce any game experience changes.
I’d love to see other types of derivations.
If your don’t plan your squad equipment according to the br wisely, that is your problem.
This will make the br determination become overcomplicated.
Still better than current situation where veteran can use high level equipment to face newbie with low level equipment.
Pretty cool; a lot of positives, a couple negatives, and some questions. Hoping for some visuals soon, that should answer them.
You said this wasn’t a historical meta, but is it possible to get a historical update in the future that focuses on details and possibly gameplay when you feel numbers are good for it? Could lack of historical accuracy be a temporary stepping stone?
There is a similar post to this above, but what about repeat grinds? I agree that compensation should happen for repeat grinds. Just look at the M8 scott being level ~30 in the pacific compared to a much lower level in Normandy. Roughly ~180k xp would just go up in smoke otherwise? Not to mention if someone paid gold to unlock something.
An overall nuke would likely be a true neutral option as then you can choose whatever you want to unlock, given that the unlock price doesn’t change for the worse.
Worst case, someone who has everything unlocked, ends up not being able to unlock everything once the changes hit. But if that were to happen, a lot of people would be jadded.
Grind the pacific one and have 2 m8 scott squads.
