New Mechanics

These are just suggestions, I hope you like them!

1: Why not create a contract system where players can choose between four weapons: 1 Russian, 1 American, 1 German, and 1 Japanese, to give back the “choose and choose” feel, like in the days of the Golden Tickets! There will be so many stages to complete, and at the end, they’ll have the same number of weapons! For this, Tier 1, 2, or 3 would be perfect. You could use event weapons or weapons from previous Battle Passes! Everyone wins, or make the gold selection something like “pass 1 stage for 100.” That could be interesting, especially if there are six stages. :eyes:

2:Regarding desertion, I agree with many that it’s annoying, but not everyone leaves without a reason! The idea would be to give a 5x boost in experience and silver for each desertion, which can be stacked up to 4 times!

3:Why not add self-propelled guns like the M7 Priest for the Americans and the Wesper for the Germans? Tank gameplay except that at the gun level it is used like a giant mortar!

I hope my ideas will help you

The M7 Priest and Wespe are not in the Warthunder so we will hardly have them

You will have one of three scenarios:

  1. They won’t have indirect fire at all so essentially they will be super weak tank destroyers. And at this point why even add them in the first place? It’s like a ship on a dessert.
  2. Their range will be very limited to the point 120mm mortar may be a better option.
  3. They will have the whole map in range. So they will camp at the resupply point and hammer the objective until the barrel falls off or the enemy plane destroys it (assuming they have one in the first place).

Tbh I don’t like any of those scenarios. But maybe someone else has a good idea of how to bite this.

So I suggested the self-propelled guns for the realistic side, and what do you think of the other 2 options? :smiling_face_with_tear:

At the limit, we reduce it to 1 self-propelled gun in addition to 2 normal tanks. If this option really doesn’t suit you, I suggest you redo the out-of-zones in a cleaner, more square way, and create a war zone where all players can go, a potential war zone, where paratroopers and partisans can go, and a safety zone, and then place spawn points there. What do you think would be better?

Tbf, both have rounds that could see them work in WT too, so its not impossible they can be worked on as a joint project for both the games.

THAT will make it worse! You’ll have MORE people leaving not less.
We want to encourage people to STAY.

Better would be a stacking 10% XP bonus for consecutive matches played to completion. Capping at 50%, if you leave it resets to 0%
Now players are encouraged to stick it out.
