Hey everyone,

After the latest update introducing the loot box mechanic, I decided to dive in and give it a go. I sold off 8 of my tier 4 soldiers and some alternate squads to rack up a total of 332k silver coins. I was pretty excited, thinking maybe I’d get something worthwhile after investing so much into this.

Unfortunately, my results weren’t exactly what I hoped for:

  • 2 portraits
  • 1 decal
  • The rest? Just call orders, XP boosters, name cards, and shit

It’s frustrating to say the least. I thought with such a high investment of silver, I would at least get a couple of substantial rewards like PARATROOPERS, but it feels like a gamble that never really pays off.

I’m curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or if I’m just extremely unlucky.

Have you guys managed to pull anything worth the silver, or are we all just burning our reserves on this?

Honestly, this loot box system doesn’t seem suitable for new players or anyone still grinding to unlock and research squads. If you’re low on silver and still need to make progress, this probably isn’t the best way to spend your resources. It feels like it’s geared towards veteran players who have more silver than they know what to do with.

Not to be rude but, it is called “veterans box” for a reason

It reminds me sad stories about guys, those took out a loan and sold everything they have to gamble :crying_cat_face:

P.S. when we talk about 1%(for squad receive) it will be 1% of all ppl, so it will be a rare situation by design.

Nah dude, no one really checks the meaning of “veteran” before hitting that buy button. If someone has enough silver to buy the crate, they’re definitely going to go for it—just like me

The problem is, you expect something worthwhile after dumping so much silver, but it’s just not worth it unless you’ve got tons of silver lying around

If you checked the % for each reward that shouldnt be a suprise. You got like 65 box and for a squad you got 1% chance … so it wasnt even likely you get any of them … also there is like 30 different squads you can get … so getting the paratroopers in 65 box you had like a 0.07% chance which is basically nothing.

But yeah you also been a bit unlucky, as in 65 box on avg you should have got a weapon or 2.

It’s nothing i had to spend 2.2mil to receive 3 missing squads and about 7 vehicles you need to spend at on average 500k-1 mil to be able to receive 1-2 squads ofc you can get more lucky and receive them faster

Spent 1 mil. silver for a squad of new zealand park rangers, and a few tanklets I never wanted. :roll_eyes:
