Anyone played the new Verdun game?
It’s new gamemode “Offensive” is exactly what enlisted should have too.

Played it for a few hours. It’s a little janky, feels like a old PS4 game. The reloading blows with the revolver and the melee animation is bad.
Not a bad game otherwise, but I’ll definitely stick with Enlisted. Though having to cap one point and destroy another is nice, and the mountain battles is something I didn’t know I wanted.

Yeah jank indeed, but thr combat is fun that I’ll suffer with the bugs until the devs iron it out.
IMO pretty good for a small dev company.

I was a big fan of Tannenberg, though that game was almost dead when I started playing it. It’s pretty much what Enlisted was originally intended to be, but WWI.
Tannenberg Nagant beats the enlisted Nagant. Yeah the reload time is horrible because it reloads like a real revolver, but it’s OHK at close range and only needs 2 hits at mid range.
Haven’t tried Isonzo but I definitely want to.

Isonzo just came out today so no dead servers, but yeah its fun. It’s mixture of invasion/desctruction/assault from Enlisted with use of rally points and engineering defenses.

Enlisted could learn from Tannenberg’s progression system as well.
While it’s only level 1-3 for each squad, instead of being an absolute advantage at higher levels, the gear you get is harder to use but has more potential.
For example the Russian rifle squad starts with a mosin Nagant, but at high levels you get the Berdan II, which is single shot but OHKs at any range.

well, just tried it and I remembered one of Tannenberg’s biggest issues.
Players replace bots in squads, and just like Enlisted, most players are worse than bots.
So 9 times out of 10 you’re stuck with people who can’t even figure out how to stay on the same grid square as their squad, and squad leaders who don’t understand orders.
1 player with a squad full of bots is better than a full player squad.
