New heavy engineer squads

The cannon would only have 90mm Timed-fused shells. Your teammate would automatically set the fuse to the nearest plane to the target.

…oh…in which case Id rather just use the 20mm AA gun lol

But the point of heavy AA is that you can shoot targets that are outside of the normal 20mm range.

sure. But timed fuse shells are a bitch to use, even when they are working (there is currently no mechanic in Enlisted…Flak 38 Truck has uselss HE-TF). If it was automatically done for you, it would basically become proxi shells…in which case would be super OP unless you removed lead indicator

The shells fuse would not be perfectly timed, it would be within a margin of error, and the cannon is not like a giant AA sniper, a good bit of the shots will miss. And the gun needs three crew, you and two bots. Any less and it won’t function. it could also be balanced by requiring you to instead of building them wherever, you have to use the heavy materials to repair heavy weapons already on the field.

The lead indicator for planes and pen indicator for tanks should get removed anyway

personally I would love that, and think that its necessary at some point

I dont understand why its there they decided to keep enlisted more realistic sluggish plane and tanks how its used to be but they dont remove these arcade assistance modules war thunder got rid of them as well and enlisted doesnt need them either, its about time they get deactivated learn the weakspots and where to aim its not that difficult for tanks but for planes you need some training to pull of air kills but thats how its spose to be i guess.

Hopefully I will see the day when they are gone, or a new game mode arrives without any 3D spotting, overheating or aim assist.

I am very much against heavy mortars being added to the game, more explosion/HE spam would just be annoying.

Other buildables might not be a bad addition, but I think the gameplay is too fast paced to drive a truck up and then start building defenses, in most cases the point will already be contested by the time you get there. They could be interesting as an alternative to APCs, where they can be used to build more solid and defensible rally points at the cost of the speed of an APC.

I was thinking they could add a gamemode with a longer playtime. I’m sure you know how most maps are small sections of a much larger map. What I’m proposing is that we have a gamemode with the full map and a longer playtime. Allowing the more slow-paced strategic players to have a more realistic game mode.

The heavy mortar would have very slow traversal time and firing time, but it would be very effective against buildings and stationary tanks.

It’s not a mil-sim. It’s an arcade ww2 shooter. Two totally different things. Enlisted will never be a mil-sim.

This is contradictory to me.
If you have played big action, you will know explosion/HE spam suits for slow pace.
And artillery will become the focus of aircraft targeting, plus we even have guerrillas now, Fixed HE spammer won’t be too effective and toxic.

I haven’t played big action and these statements are entirely separate.

More HE spam is annoying because many objectives in the game are very small and can effectively be shut down with consistent explosions. Thus, heavy mortars just make the game less fun if teams spam them to deny the other team access to the objectives.

Gameplay is too fast for trucks transporting engineers to get the point and THEN starting to build emplacements. As it is, a defending team has approximately 30ish seconds before the attacking team is already on them in most cases. That’s just not enough time for this idea to work consistently.

These criticisms might not be applicable to the big action mod, but I wouldn’t know and I am only talking about the main game.

What’s big action.
