This is just a speculation on how the gamemode plays out. In simple terms, there is defender and attacker in a different map which showcase enemy bases in each of the campaigns. The attacker invades the enemy base in disguise while the defender looks out for the attackers and kill them. For optional matchmaking the attackers and defender are decided by the player stacks. For example if there is more German mains than Soviets in the matchmaking, then Germany becomes the defender while Soviet becomes attacker. There will be 1000 reinforcement points for attackers only and 30 minute timer. This is infantry only battle which means no plane or tanks.
Attackers

You will only spawn as one squad members from any squad you have in your composition. Your weapons will be replaced with common or standard issued weapons for each squad based on BR the match is. Like MG13 for machine gunner, Kar 98 for Rifleman, etc… for German disguise.

On the first cutscene before the game, the attacker comes inside the base as disguised defender in the current APC (Covered versions of current APCs only) giving fake ID to one of the defender factions just to get in the compound.

After the first cutscene, there will randomized 2 main objectives which includes:
- Plant a bomb in locations
- Sabotage comms
- Assassinate some commanders or officers

Bonus silver objectives (for silver rewards only):
- Look for correct classified documents in archives which is in random place

After you start, make sure to stay in your disguise and don’t look at surrounding AI soldiers for too long or else they will get suspicious of you by a suspicion meter. Don’t take out your own weapon (including knives) in front of them. Don’t go close to bots or be more suspicious in front of them as they will follow you if they find you suspicious. If you are compromised, then the 1 AI will communicate with their radio while other AI attacks you. You can survive after running far enough and hide until the suspicion bar disappears. You can go ahead go for a kill run but you will die as players are notified of your location and will kill you unless you hide for some time. Also if you commit lethal takedowns, make sure to hide body in closet or rooms no one might want to go. If found dead body in sight then bots or players will report to high command which will boost the suspicion bar.
Defenders
- You are the high ranking soldier in the compound that can use weapons without any issue as long as you don’t friendly fire and have the pass to visit restricted places.
- If you kill more than 3 bot soldiers, you will be arrested by higher command and court martialed which means you died and have to respawn.
- You roam around to look for intruders who disguise as the enemy
- Have clear communication with commander time to time
- Look for suspicious behavior from your soldiers like if there is blood on their uniform, trespassing in restricted zone, planting bombs, or taking files from cabinets.
- Make sure to look for dead bodies and report them to higher command for boost of detection.
- If found, chase and kill them for loss of 12 reinforcement points
- Bonus objective: Look for dead bodies in cabinets or in restricted zone to get extra silver rewards only
Winning condition of the game:
Attackers:
- Complete main objectives (with or without completing bonus objectives) within the time frame
Defenders:
- Wiped all intruders and they don’t have reinforcement points anymore
- Protected the objective for too long that the timer ran out and intruders didn’t complete the main objective
Additional note to objectives: Make it random places for veterans don’t camp there and make it one sided only.
