New game mode FOB assualt

How about a game mode where both teams build fobs around control point and must attack and defend their point

What is a FOB?

Forward operating base essentially a fortified rally point

Ive had a similar idea
3 points, 1 base for each team, 1 central
You win by either holding the middle one for longer or by capping the enemies base, which would be hard, becuse of the proximity of their spawn and the slow cap rate

So you can only cap a point if you have cap all the previous point between it and your base and the goal is to capture ennemy base?

I like it, and I think it’s present in some game as Battlefield.

How it end if you don’t capture ennemy base?
Time?

My idea would have an innate time limit
Each team would have points, which would steadily decrease. It would be faster for the enemy if you are holding the middle point, sorta like conquest
One of the main issues with a cap the enemy base( for example 5CP from tf2) or CTF gamemodes is their ablility to go infinite

i dont think we need specifically what you’ve proposed, but more strategical game modes, such as armored train would be cool
