I took 6 units to the battlefield with the Soviets, and since I only used 2 in the entire game, no one but them got the exp and they are maxed units so it is useless to them.
I think it would be better for everyone, especially new players, if maxed units didn’t carry exp and it was distributed to units that haven’t been maxed out.
And if you have all the units maximized, the exp will be saved in an exp bank.
This is done in a free unit game called Conqueror Blade. The developers there are more greedy and horrible than those here, and yet they have this mechanic.

I would disagree with this, except you make a very good point about newer players, who are almost forced to use lesser squads to unlock the important upgrades in this despite there being more effective squads for them.
This only causes misery to them and their own team as they have to play at a handicap because of it.
However I will say, I dont think the exp bank is needed, that seems like overkill, I would also see this system balanced a bit, so say only 10% of the XP earned from maxed units counts to upping the XP of other squads, or even that only certain squad types can upgrade the XP of other squads, so like you need an engineer 1 squad to upgrade an engineer 2 squad (without playing the engineer 2 squad that is)
I mean it needs rethinking, but I see potential in the idea.

The game that this system comes out is much more “GRIND” than this game, search on YouTube for “Conqueror Blade” it’s hell made “GRIND”
Even so, this system is very good for both new and veteran players and the reason is simple, the exp obtained is blocked at 1 million and with premium units and VIP account even in a good game you cannot earn more than 40-60k of exp.
This system was implemented due to player complaints that the grinding was absurd and that new players simply left. Therefore, new players were given one basic max-level unit so they could level up their unlocked units.
The bank system is useful for veterans who already have everything. When a new unit comes out, you can level up that unit to level 10 with the million exp saved and not go empty-handed with that unit.
Likewise, new players who play intelligently with the units they are given at maximum level (which are 3 in total) and the bank can easily obtain a golden unit and upgrade it to maximum level immediately with everything they are given.
Let’s be honest, it’s not difficult to max a unit in this game either, it’s annoying, but not difficult.
It also does not generate any losses, you still have to work for the exp accumulated in the bank and if you do not have everything at maximum level you do not divert said exp to the bank either.
