Cosmetics and name changing which I bet a good portion of your players don’t care much about it and then the final reward is just 5 silver soldier orders?! When the last event was a unique gun and awesome swords, umm, I was expecting something better, tbh.
Imo, I don’t think orders are a bad thing to give out for a short time event that is just to give out rewards. I personally think Customization prices and system should be reworked in order for the orders there to be worth it, but that’s a separate issue. Out of all the orders for a final reward, I think silver soldier orders was the worst one they could have chosen. Silver weapon orders not only supply weapons, but also equipment, and require more orders than soldiers, which require just one. If the final rewards was anything else aside from Silver Soldier Orders (Bronze or Silver Weapon Orders or Bronze Soldier Orders), then I don’t really have much of an issue for a three day event.
Personally, I would have preferred bronze soldier and then bronze weapons. A bit bunch of them, even just 50 wouldn’t do tbh. It takes more than that to level from 4 to 4 stars a Lv 2 unit. Insane, but yeah silver weapon orders are not bad but that’s at the end of it if we make it. Just lots of effort for little reward, in my opinion. Instead last event was worth it, those swords are amazing.
A small event is better then no event at all.
Of course, then we have to see how long to the next better event. I mean if this small so so event is considered as an actual event then maybe the next is in a month or so!?!

So yes, rewards may not be amazing. But effort you have to put in is almost 0.
You misunderstand something here.
Getting something for the end of the war (8-9 May) is different to some day to remember active heroism at that day. I live in France and I can tell you: People don’t even remember this day and it’s significance.
Be happy about what you get, although I would prefer 40 Bronze orders.
I don’t know since when you play the game but it’s nice to see them being active for once!
Next event I would like to see free update of guns and soldiers as this would help a lot of people.

it was a short one, indeed, so I guess the reward was ok.
