Do the math, every weapon will cost at least double the amount of silver weapon equivalent after merge, tier I weapons are 1 silver before merge and 2 post merge, tier II is 2 vs 6, tier III is 3 vs 10
Soldiers are even worse since you can buy a soldier for 1 silver currently, after merge you need equivalent of:
Tier I: 3 silver soldier order
Tier II: 7 silver soldier order + 5 bronze soldier order
Tier III: 9 silver soldier order
Tier IV: 11 silver + 5 bronze
And to overkill it, you are spend the same if not more times to grind for those order in post merge
The current rate is just a base, which is published to discuss.
Besides that, it was mentioned that you need definetely less soldiers and equipment for that faction.
You will need less soldiers: (Not having to equip 10 different assaulter squads)
And less weapons: (Not having to get 10 x 4 MP-40’s for these assaulter squads)
You’ll upgrade only a single army instead of multiple different ones.
You will no longer have to spend lots of orders to upgrade soldiers either, you also didn’t mention that weapon upgrades are also cheaper.
Right now it’s 69 bronze orders to fully upgrade a 3 star weapon, after the merge it will be equivalent to 50.
And that’s the price to pay 6~12 times more for any end game stuff? How the new player gonna feel when they can’t even dream about those things? Also what 12 campaigns? New players don’t know that
That doesn’t matter for New players, they spend more for every new stuff they unlock and just seeing them gonna hurt their wallet, also you talk about upgrading weapons when they can’t even buy that weapon without spending incredibly amount of grind to buy 1 fricking weapon or soldier, not “and”
Conversion rate won’t even matter for me because I use every squad in a campaign, and outfit them full with gear. I have no orders to convert lol. But it will definitely be more expensive for me to outfit my armies post currency change. I can see how this will be beneficial for the players that don’t use their entire army though and only use the same 3 infantry squads, which I imagine is most players.
This statement is a bit cunning
Because novice players do not need to start another campaign immediately after reaching the top level in one campaign
They can stay in an already top-level campaign for a while, use high-end weapons to earn themselves certain resources, and then go to polish a new campaign.
Just like I did when I was a newbie
But now, they have to pay more
