New Economy income

Well, BR5 matchs are quite sweaty if both side went real meta, or just a walk in the park for the germans, there is nothing casual in those matches, getting score is matter of who is better being meta

and funny enough, playing German BR5, I managed to slip into Staligrad 2 times, and never Berlin somehow

People joke about Tiger I in Stalingrad, but boi, little they know Tiger II is already in Stalingrad, same for IS2 and AS44s…

to the point, the income is miserable considering everything is more expensive than before and your gaining is still the same as before merge… inflation is real son, also I am getting those pity 800 coins even winning, now imagine the losing side having 50% less

and if you are a vet, I hope you gather all those reserve soldiers in mass and retire them for some veteran warbond, cuz your spending gonna be real high if you planned everything poorly before merge…

The real question we should be asking is why certain guns cost as much xp (180000 specifically) as vehicles. Lowering the xp would be pretty swag.

dude, forget about unlocking stuff…just look at how little my progress go with the Jpz IV… good thing that I have most of the German stuff unlocked

yea i feel like it the same amount of xp tbh but the real pain is the amount of silver we get tbh since something cost like 15k silver while we make 600 per SWEAT game

Now imagine grinding this game as a new player…

I don’t know how the devs expect to magically attract new players with that economy

yea it might seem fine at first but when they reach br3 they might quit

Well, honestly, seing that I need to play 10+ game to buy a single soldier, I would have given up way earlier than Tier 3.

If the new player can reach top 3 average for 10 match… which is unlikely

Me having spent HUNDREDS of silver orders on tier IV Moscow assaulters before the war thunder update:
2dd

I didn’t even sell any yet, and realized I don’t need to buy anything else… But I’m a vet, who unlocked everything.

For a new player, that is f2p… the grind will be daunting, and the battle rating detrimental indeed.

I was on the verge of getting to get the upgraded M2, but then Darkflow moved the upgrade tree behind the M1 Garand Grenade Launcher squad. I would’ve had a fully upgraded M2 squad, but then they switched it on a whim without any notice. Same with the Thompson drum mag.

At least Steiner counter offensive is rocking hard in high BR, so use that advantage before the Ally turn the table around

Going to max stg first, what should I do next?

StG44 sniper is all you need for BR5

roger that, stg sniper next

Basically I did the same, I’ve spent all my silver orders for troops on Assaulters IV and III just before the update and this is how it went.

First login I had this

MERGE - first login

Then I’ve made some great purge of these excess Assaulters meant to be sacrificed by a firing-squad (sending to the rear is a lie :skull:)

Now, after all that, I am sitting on this pile of Silver

MERGE - after selling soldiers

And it’s still not all what I will get when I finally take care of my “normal” soldiers that I need to check for equipment and stats before I execu… send them home.

I’m not even in a hurry to sell all mine. Without selling anything, I got like 270k silver… But already had unlocked everything. I don’t even need that much for now, maybe in the future…

I did waste a lot yesterday fiddling with perks, thought.
