y can’t save what is dead.

there is year of design, year of prototype, year of entering service and year of first battle. devs use all 4 years for possible weapons.

so if you want BR5 moscow, then pls go to customs.

You know I’ve said there isn’t really a point to maps arbitrarily being divided by BRs unless it was historical. I mean why is Moscow and Tunisia BR 1 and why is Berlin BR 5. What point is there? Why have some maps be “early game” and others “late”

Why not just remove map BRs and BR will strictly be for power level. So you could have a BR 5 match on Tunisia or Moscow, and a BR 1 match on Berlin

To give an example, whenever I play Battlefield I only use faction specific weapons because I like a little immersion. I can’t control that both teams are running around with chaotic loadouts and my team is using X,Y,Z and the other team are using A,B,C; but at least for me I have my little personal immersion and I’m good.

So if there were no map BRs I could make a loadout that fits 1941 with PPSh, SVTs, AVS, KVs and end up on Moscow. Sure my team will have IS-2s and the enemy will have Stgs and it will be chaotic and yes it will IRK me a little bit, but at least I’d be able to say “hey at least I got my little personal immersion”

Now I only ever quit a match when my loadout doesn’t match chronologically, for example if I have Volkssturm squads and weapons and BR 4 or 5 I quit if I get sent to Normandy or if I have an AS 44 and end up in Stalingrad. I like a little immersion, that’s just how I roll. So if map BR was removed I’d only ever quit where my loadout doesn’t make sense. So if I have a BR 5 with Stg 44s and Panthers and end up in Stalingrad I’d quit. But at least with no map BRs it has chances to work depending on the loadouts

and there isnt any point to BR1 if it gets auto and HE spam from the start. current BR are somewhat historical if you disregard few weapons/vehicles that werent present there.

difference between enlisted and battlefield is that battlefield weapons arent locked behind years of grind.

Then why cant we have a queue system as 1,2-3 and then 4-5. Then all the early war weapons that are at 4 and 5 can be at br3. So new players at br1 can have a queue to themselves and then when theyre ready, they can move up. And yes i know,an extra queue would end up dividing the playerbase a little more but at the same time, 3 is better than 5 queues.

Then why can’t DF simply reduce the exp needed to unlock the higher tier weaponry or increase the amount of exp earned in general?

japan is the one that lacks a semi auto, germany has one in the g43

Lmao, this game took me under a year to max every faction and that was PRE merge. Definitely not years of grinding especially after the merge.

good for you… but some of us have life. i have been playing for ~2 and half years and i still havent maxed out all factions. premerge i have maxed out 3 factions and had some 4-5 factions between 15-20 level.

Lmao nice of you to assume I don’t have a life when I’m full time army with a wife and child. Sounds like a skill issue for you then.

it is time issue. not many people have time for more than few battles daily.

btw here are some stats for you about how many battles per day players play.

in these stats desertions are also included.
