How would these weapons, made by the Polish resistance, get into the hands of the Polish forces in exile?
Realisticly, a Polish Partisan squad with these weapons would only work out in the Soviet faction, but making the first and only Polish squad fight for the Soviets will ruffle some feathers…
Gold Order weapons for Germany, for now? It’s not like I wouldn’t think it was cool for a Free Polish faction that queues up with the Allies in Tunisia, Normandy and Bulge, with the Soviets in Berlin, then alone (if high player numbers) against either Soviets or Germany a new Warsaw campaign… But in the current game I don’t see other alternatives than German rare weapon or Soviet squad…

I believe that Poles should be added to both the Soviet and Western Allies.

Eventually, yes of course, but it would be in very poor taste for anyone that’s Polish to see their first representation in the game go to a faction which commited about as many war crimes on them as the Germans did…
Softening the blow by including some Polish units for the Brits is the best idea, but we shouldn’t add them to the Soviets first…

I of course still think a seperate Polish faction would be awsome, and my preffered solution over all.

It’s funny that the first French army in the game was for Germany (that SS flamethrower squad)
And if you look at it in terms of numbers, the Soviets are even more reasonable, more than a hundred thousand Poles fought in Berlin.
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter to me which one comes first, and I want them on both sides.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone minds because they don’t speak French, and in theory could be Volksdeutsche (Germans living outside Germany proper in Nazi terminology). Those who took the time to read the flavour text knows, but the squad itself doesn’t suggest it’s either French or SS, so it bairly counts anyway to those people…

I mean the easy option would be to add one of the Polish tanks from WT as an event squad to the allies first, namely the Firefly comes to mind.
