Hi, today I would like to suggest a new campaign : Battle of Burma (1944-1945)

One of the reasons why Japanese Army wanted to expand into Southeast Asia was to block the transportation route of relief supplies to Chinese National Revolutionary Army. This was achieved by the occupation of Burma in the early days of the war, but in 1944 Chinese and British Army launched a rebellious operation aimed at securing a route from Burma to Yunnan.

The road from Ledo to Yunnan was cut off by the Japanese occupied territories shown in red.

At that time, the Japanese army was reaching its limits and was carrying out a reckless operation aimed at invading India, so the front immediately collapsed. The Allies achieved operational objectives at the end of January 1945.

And WT may have bent over backwards to get around the censors, but I don’t know if that’s still necessary. China’s national film industry has released a few films in recent years that include NRA soldiers and even glorify them and their flag. This seems to be the product of a more nationalist shift in the Xi government’s position. If the Chinese government is openly promoting movies about the NRA, I doubt they’ll get mad over their inclusion in a video game.

Actually, any censors made by regional game publisher is their own decision to avoid any risk from social media. Whether Tencent(WarThunder Chinese publisher) or Warflame(Enlisted Chinese publisher)do censor to avoid such risk(You can imagine if someone use the game screenshot to make some distortion and political promotion, that’s very dangerous to the game).
