Add a buildable small bunker that would have a machinegun in it. Make it buildable by engineer II or in the future III

Then maybe you could build only in set locations. But barbed wire is in the middle of bunkers and buildings and tank traps and they look out of place
This would be better like build slots for Defence bunker anti tank anti air ect but it take some time
Fair enough :v. They need to change this too, especially AA inside a corridor.
It’d be very situational, tho. and It’d be not much use for attacker.
I can tolerate it if it was sandbag or something. But concrete? nah.
It would be cool to have in the future especially if they plan on adding larger maps.

I am not against ideas but how you imagine it is justified that a guy with a hammer makes a concrete box out of nowhere? Plus I already see pillboxes on House roofs smh

You need to play fallout, where I can carry around an entire CAMP in my backpack.

On topic, I dont think a Pillbox for an engineer has its place, but what I would like to see is prefabricated trenches being able to be placed by engineers with shovels. At least that would be more in line with the game and realism (although we have to condense time in this game due to its pace of play)
Already exists, tested Tunisia? Some squad was able to dig in tanks and make trenches
Prefabricated already exists? I’ve played in Tunisia but by the time you dig a proper trench the point is won or lost. Game pace is too fast to make it manually via a shovel.

Yea its unrealistic that a guy with a hammer makes a pillbox but how does a guy with a hammer build AT and AA guns, tank traps.
Maybe take my idea of a pillbox mini bunker and make it into an upgraded MG nest. Like sandbags on top and on the sides and MG sticking out of a firing hole

not a pillbox. the idea of a guy hitting air and making a room with solid concrete walls is absurd. the second idea of sandbags as an upgraded mg nest is better
Pillboxes would be overkill and wouldn’t make any sense.
What about lafette mounts instead? Could set up vey accurate mg34 and such. Would be easier to place inside buildings and… Inside existing trench “bunkers”. Moscow is full of them.

I don’t know about a concrete bunker, but you could make something like a small firing position. It’s not that hard to dig a hole in the ground and pile some sand bags in front of it.
