I doubt people are going to use this over the Thompsons, but I’m all for it

@GENxCatrenko-live , Do you have any proof that this magazine existed, or at least that it was being developed before the end of World War II? Documents, photos from those years, anything. Because if not, there’s a good chance that it’s just a modern modification.

I tried to look up when the 30 round mags were made but it just says most likely made during ww2 and that it was an aftermarket item.

Anyone else have an answer of when it was made by chance?

Thank you for your post.

I agree with Spiderking that it is unlikely to be used over a Thompson but I too would welcome the addition to the game as another SMG option for Allies.

Even just to look at the tech tree and not see
Thompson Thompson Thompson Thompson Thompson Thompson Thompson…

FAQ & Guide To Reising Submachine Gun Accessories - Reising Message Board - MachineGunBoards.com Forums. Advice from Reising experts - NFA / Semi Forum - Sturmgewehr.com Forums. Original Reising .45 magazines hold 20 rounds, and another original version holds 12 rounds. Both are stamped with Harrington and Richardson markings, as well as indicate they are for the Reising. A 30-round aftermarket magazine also exists, as well as a 50-round aftermarket drum, which is a Thompson drum that has been modified with the top of a Reising magazine attached. Some Thompson box magazines have also been modified to work in the Reising, and hold 23 or 25 rounds. I will post pictures of these as soon as I can. (If anyone has a picture of the aftermarket 50-round drum, or modified Thompson mags, please forward them to me for inclusion.) Some 12 and 20 round Reising magazines have “NE” markings, followed by a number. These were made by New England Small Arms, which consisted of several manufacturers.
ken christie only mentioned 30 rd ma who founded company 2001 ouch. Harrington and Richardson Reising M50 .45 acp. Though like the some German smg that can use a Lancaster 50 rd mag it seems possible to modify use Thompson mags in a resing.

Without the Dev’s lowering the horizontal recoil from 29 or 30 down to about 20, it has no chance of being used in level three no matter how big the magazine or ROF is. I occasionally use it at level one, but prefer the Grease gun and Sten because both have less recoil. I have both the M50 and M55 and really don’t use either much, even though it does have a decent damage number of 8.2. Level two, maybe it would get used with the increase of mag and ROF, but again.

That aside, I am always in favor of adding new weapons in the game, so if DF would do it and add it, I would most certainly try it out.
