New backpack

What if we make a new backpack called “Load Bearing Equipment” where you can bring 100% of ammo (primary and secondary), 2x of grenade, and 2x of tools for the price of say 800-1000 silvers. Example for the US is that visually this kit will be the amalgamation of few small ammo pouches (big ammo pouch looks ugly), haversack (please change the color), and the large grenade pouch. Other countries will have their own suites.

what do you think?

I’ve seen this idea thrown around before most recently (to my knowledge) here: 🎒Another bag

But I think there’s a reason a lot of people want to see it and that’s because it’s a good idea

So an equipment slot item that makes every other equipment slot item obsolete because it does what all of them do?

End game gonna be wild. Lol

Dumb idea, would make all the other pouches/backpacks obsolete. The whole system needs an overhaul. There needs to be a disadvantage to running a larger bag or pouch, such as slower run/sprint speed or faster stamina drain.

A better idea would be to have only a backpack slot and the spaces that were originally for just bandages/tools could be filled with extra ammo, med kids or grenades, depending on how much of one particular item you want to take. For example a large backpack has 4 slots, and in those slots I have 1 medkit, 1 extra grenade and, 2 small pouches for ammo.

no shit, it’s gonna make everything obsolete because its the end game equipment, that is why it needs to be priced rather high. People historically carried buttload of ammo and nades back then, what’s stopping them now?

Honestly if this was in the game it would have to be nerfed hard like cant jump anymore and run like a MG gunner even when you pull out a axe or knife and no charging and you cant climb over structures cause of the weight but that would be the price of wearing this ultimate back packs

interesting double standards you have

I remember something like that about using iт topic about sighting level-angle meter

People historically used launchers sighting device what’s stopping them now :tipping_hand_man:

Would make literally every other backpack completely pointless

AN/M2 + 100% ammo + 2 impact granages + 2 med kit

I don’t mind - fair deal :+1:

…which could also be ported over to low BR and give vets even more advantages.

Back then, they also couldnt bunny hop and hipfire a machine gun on auto fire while moving.
Also, the German “stock” loadout is mostly accurate in terms of ammo and grenade numbers.

who the hell cares about your topic, don’t ever bring your topic to mine as i never bring mine to yours. stop seeking attention

i think BR lock with movement nerf would be fair? lets say give them BR IV and 75% sprint factor?

that’s what i thought too, and maybe as people are concerned of takin to low BR a BR lock as well in BR IV?

I think it should be lower.
+10% ammo (same as the small ammo pouch)
+1 grenade (same as the grenade pouch)
+tool/medkit (same as small backpack)

It would still be useful on Machine gunners who would only receive one extra magazine whether or not they equipped small or large ammo pack (such as on the Stinger)

A while ago I also made a suggestion for a backpack where it would increase the ammo count of your second primary (AT launchers, etc) and your sidearm which would be especially useful for snipers that you have automatic pistols equipped for, and AT Gunners.
