New Arnhem map, more gore and setting to remove Red Cross and skull when you get a kill

Dear Enlisted Development Team,

First of all, I want to say thank you for all the hard work you put into Enlisted. It’s one of the most immersive WWII shooters out there, and I really appreciate the attention to historical detail and large-scale battles. I wanted to suggest a few additions that I think could enhance the realism and cinematic quality of the game.

  1. Increased Gore Effects – To make battles feel more intense and immersive, it would be great to see more detailed gore effects. For example, if a soldier is shot in the head, their helmet could fly off, or even include dismemberment effects for high-caliber weapons and explosions. This could be an optional setting so players who prefer a more realistic experience can enable it.

  2. Arnhem Map – With Enlisted featuring battles from across WWII, I think a map based on Arnhem (Operation Market Garden) would be a great addition. The urban setting, combined with bridge fights and paratrooper engagements, would make for intense and unique gameplay.

  3. Option to Disable Kill Markers – To make the game feel even more immersive, it would be great to have an option to disable the small cross/skull icons that appear when you kill an enemy. This way, players can rely more on visual confirmation rather than HUD elements, adding to the realism.

I believe these changes would make the game feel even more cinematic and immersive, appealing to both history enthusiasts and players who enjoy a more realistic experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestions, and I look forward to future updates!

Best regards
Aeddan Grant

im 99% sure theres an option to toggle the kill markers

also, you may want to create separate threads for multiple suggestions that have no relation to each other

Game has to run for ancient consoles like the PS4. Adding more immersive gore would likely be too intensive.

There’s a key combination that lets you disable your hud. It’s used primarily for cinematics, and only affects the player that used it.

If you’re going for “more realism”, there are modded maps and scenarios for that. Disabling the HUD in regular matches for everyone is a big ask.

I agree with Arnhem as a map suggestion.

No more gore though.

And under no circumstance should we remove kill markers.

I play Hell Let Loose and its complete BS they dont tell you if you got a kill.

Just enjoy the game, if you want ‘Muh Realism’ join the actual army.

Make it an option then. It would be automatically disabled but could be turned on in settings. We should also be able to choose how long bodies stay on the ground (weapons would still dissapear normally)

We already have the option to enable or disable gore.

The issue is if you want more gore than what the game is already offering, it’s likely to be very intensive.

But it still should be opion for those who have good enough systems. It should be like this:

  1. No gore for sensitive people or players who have bad systems

  2. Normal gore for those who want good performance without ruining immersion

  3. Better gore for those who want maximum immersion and have good enough system to run it

But this should not be high priority for the devs since only minority of playerbase would benefit from it
