First of all, I want to say thank you for all the hard work you put into Enlisted. It’s one of the most immersive WWII shooters out there, and I really appreciate the attention to historical detail and large-scale battles. I wanted to suggest a few additions that I think could enhance the realism and cinematic quality of the game.
Increased Gore Effects – To make battles feel more intense and immersive, it would be great to see more detailed gore effects. For example, if a soldier is shot in the head, their helmet could fly off, or even include dismemberment effects for high-caliber weapons and explosions. This could be an optional setting so players who prefer a more realistic experience can enable it.
Arnhem Map – With Enlisted featuring battles from across WWII, I think a map based on Arnhem (Operation Market Garden) would be a great addition. The urban setting, combined with bridge fights and paratrooper engagements, would make for intense and unique gameplay.
Option to Disable Kill Markers – To make the game feel even more immersive, it would be great to have an option to disable the small cross/skull icons that appear when you kill an enemy. This way, players can rely more on visual confirmation rather than HUD elements, adding to the realism.
I believe these changes would make the game feel even more cinematic and immersive, appealing to both history enthusiasts and players who enjoy a more realistic experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestions, and I look forward to future updates!
Make it an option then. It would be automatically disabled but could be turned on in settings. We should also be able to choose how long bodies stay on the ground (weapons would still dissapear normally)
