So… yeah… now we have something like that.
I guess we can suspect that we will be able to interact with it just like in case of the bayonets (pre update picture).
I would like to say that it may indicate that we will get different kinds of magazines… but BA rifles don’t have external magazines that could be changed.
So the only other option to use this new UI is to do something with ammo. So probably different types of ammo. And from here it’s a straight line to premium ammo.
I know that it’s mostly guessing and it’s a gloomy one, but that’s the only reason for this UI to exist I have found.
I doubt. If it was about the magazines, then BA rifles wouldn’t have it.
Maybe they gonna change the way how you reload BAs and the M1 like you can only reload with stripes if the gun is empty while no stripes gives you more flexibility in return for longer reload time.
Same for SAs.
I doubt. Stripper clips system we have now is good and realistic (as far as I know). So I don’t see any reason why to change it.
It could also be part of UI to work with different ammo pouches. Or they just made it for all the guns because it was easier for them?
I really hope that we will not fall even deeper into P2W swamp with introduction of premium ammunition…
Different mags are a thing already apparently, but I think they are weapon variants not mods like scopes. Patch notes mention that MP40/1 exists. It’s the one that uses two standard mags.
This is unique gun for german premium squad in Berlin CBT. As for now there is no option to change magazine types.
