New Achievements

I feel like achievements have been somewhat neglected. As far back as I can remember, no new achievements have been added since they were first implemented. Certainly not since Battle of Berlin campaign was released anywho. Since then, there’s been a whole host of new Campaigns, Features and Mechanics. So, I think new achievements should be added.

Here is a few examples which would bring the total achievements up to 40. Please do note I’m not a balance genius and the example rewards are either going to be too underwhelming or too overdone; others will have to be the judge of that.

Edit: Turns out they added the Rank-based Achievements as Weekly Objectives so you can just completely ignore those three.

and after reaching the 100% the final platinum trophäe
at least on Playstation,
Platinhunter would draw attention to the game.

When adding each DLC, extra a few trophies.
Kill in Berlin 10 IS2 with King Tiger.
Kill 15 enemies with 1 bomb drop by radio operators in Stalingrad and so on.

Platinum trophies are for showing and indicating
Enlisted doesn’t have anything like that, sad.

There are 100+ hidden acchivments on the gaijin Stat page for enlisted.

We just have to wait and see.

Imo more important stuff than that should be done first.

“imo more important stuff than that should be done first”.

That’s where I have to disagree. People use this as an excuse to just keep getting new mechanics without ever expanding on and actually using pre-existing mechanics.

It’s this belief that leads to new things being added in to new Campaigns whilst just totally forgetting about the old campaigns. Of course now they have slowly began rectifying it but here’s two examples:

  1. Trench Digging in Tunisia. They added a new mechanic but only in one campaign for quite a long time?
  2. Soldier Clothing Customisation in Stalingrad. Again, just one campaign?

They add new cool stuff but never to build on pre-existing stuff. It’s always it’s own separate thing.

Granted, Achievements are a really low-level example of an old mechanic just abandoned but it is just that; abandoned.

It makes the whole game feel disconnected from itself. Playing Stalingrad and playing Normandy feels like two separate experiences, and not just because one’s beaches and one’s a city.
This then feeds in to the “Why would I play X campaign when I like Y more because it has/doesn’t have ABC thing[s]” issue.

In reality, a good game company would have at least a small team designated to Quality of Life and expanding on old mechanics whilst others do the new stuff.

Then again a good company would actually listen to highly supported suggestions and not just ignore most of them and cherry pick the ones they like the best/ones they were going to do anyway.

Oh Gaijin.

There is QoL, but it mostly concerns fixing (small) stuff and bugs.

I see your point, I agree with it based on this convo, even tho, I couldn’t care less about said features in the other campaigns. They are shenanigans that don’t bring nothing worth.
But, I understand they might be fun for the users interested in them.

Also, by more important stuff, I ment fixes on current core game issues.
Last major was a plus for me, I couldn’t care less about levels or gear or what ever, but the bug fixes, changes and mod.bat was worth the update.

If you care more about that stuff over all campaigns than a fixed and therefore strong core gameplay, I don’t have the right answer for you that would fit this forum rules.

That’s only if you believe the core gameplay is broken though. To me, there’s only two things they need to do to fix the core gameplay:

  1. Stop making everything about money. - never going to happen.
  2. Stop making the game more and more sweaty tryhard BS - also never going to happen.

So I don’t really see the point in asking for core gameplay changes because they’ll never do them anyway because it doesn’t benefit their profits. Hell, they barely do any of the Quality of Life suggestions that’d take 3 seconds to code so no way they are going to fix the ‘core gameplay’.

Edit: Also I replied to the wrong person, sorry. I’m sure that’s noticeable anyway though.

It happens. Don’t worry about it.

It’s just a small poor Latvian company, temper your ardor.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not.
