Nerf the Meteor

The Meteor gets 2 1000 pound bombs which is enough to wipe entire teams from getting to the objective and destroy heavily armored tanks from some distance. The Allies already have the P-47 which is almost as deadly. Give the Meteor 2 500 pound bombs like all of the other jets so they can destroy tanks and kill infantry without being so overkill.

Wrong more than skill issue is a balance issue not for the bombs but look at the Meteor turning rate and compare it to the other Jets

And well when it comes to armament is kinda balanced since

ME-262: explosive bullets
Kikka: Biggest bomb in the game

But as i mentioned this go out the Window when we compare the turning rate

So, elaborate. It’s a skill issue when someone strafes me. Whether you are the top 5% or bottom 5%, you can’t do shit when someone goes on a bombing run or strafes you.

just go inside a building

I’ve played vast majority of all planes and played decent number of matches on Me262, then Kikka and finally on the Meteor

Shit is beyond OP and I have great reasons to believe so.

  • Turns better than most prop planes on high tier

  • Extremely forgiving armament

  • Biggest bombload of all the jets

  • Lower speed allows it to win all circle fights while still being fast enough to bank energy and resupply swiftly

  • Great view in cockpit and amazing sights

  • Easier to correct overshoots

I’d love to hear a one good argument why this shouldn’t be considered OP as it’s just completely fucking bonkers. Playing this plane only confirmed my previous assumptions and even exceeded my already high expectations. I haven’t lost a single dogfight that hadn’t had me placed in an extremely disadvantageous position, because I could pull off slightly disadvantageous with surprising ease

Kikka 800KG bomb is about 20% weaker than 2 bombs of the Meteor while rocking an amazing 100 rounds (50 shots/6 seconds of shots) with shitty optics

Me262 has 50% weaker bombload for 360 rounds (90 shots/6 seconds of shooting. For comparison single 1000lb H.E M.C bomb cover an area 1.9 times larger than the entire 90 shots combined)

To put it further into perspective if the Meteor equipped 2x
500lb AN M61A1 bombs they would still be ~20% stronger compared to the single 500kg SC500K bomb of Me262

Even if you counted in all the 30mm cannon shots of Me262 and ignored all the ammo the Meteor has in it’s belts it would come off ~10% weaker - which is closer to balanced than the 1000lb scenario

This shit is beyond OP in every department

Well? There isn’t always going to be cover.

The turn rate becomes irrelevant when you shoot the meteor from behind with any aircraft of its BR.

ofc it becomes irrelevant but tell me now how you are gonna get behind that plane before it gets behind/over you instead??

No shit

‘Guys did you know that if you have an insane positional advantage over an enemy plane you can shoot it down even if it’s amazingly better?’

It’s about the same argument as if I said that select fire rifles should be BR1 because ‘automatic fire doesn’t matter if you shoot the guy in the back with a bolt action’

I am honestly astonished that I see such a bullshit reason repeated multiple times

Ok, now tell me how to build an AA gun in less than 5 seconds.

And the pilot? I’ve seen people literally crash into the ground trying to pull off a “super OP turn.” The problem with going up against the few aircraft that perform well in the right hands is that there’s always some 15-year-old kid with too much time on his hands who thinks the entire player base plays just like him.

Your problem, Don’t you hear when a plane comes in the distance?

According to that logic we should allow all planes to be played in any BR as engineers have the same AA guns in both BR1 and BR5 a and ‘a plane being too strong’ suddenly stops being a problem

I am insanely disappointed that you actually conjured such a thought and honestly repulsed that you then thought that it was somehow a good argument

I don’t need arguments when the other person’s opinion isn’t relevant to the above issue. This is all a matter of skill. If you want perfectly balanced games, you can play custom games.

Enlisted’s lack of matchmaking makes everything you say a matter of bad luck, and you’re constantly playing against the same guy who knows how to use that plane.

It’s not that hard to understand.

Anticipation, perhaps? Knowing that the enemy could bring out a plane at any moment? Are you really discussing a problem of winning/losing probabilities? That’s how the game works.
