Nerf the anti-personnel mines

And the concept of sarcasm is too high for ya.

So if you think I give all my soldiers the same weapon then I’m spamming right?

Defenders are supposed to be defending an objective not making sandbag walls out of human corpses and if you stand inside the objective it’s just waiting for one grenade or tank shell or rocket to wipe us all out.

No I’m just trying to level up my stuff and I carry paratroopers for any kind of scenario I’m sent to

You don’t even have to say rally points because if you actually want to win games you need them and there’s no point in building Ammo boxes for randoms unless an event says you have to.

And with how AA guns are right now they’re pointless you’re better off having troops in the ground instead of someone wasting time in those things.

So if I understood correctly, you simply made up what you think spam means. How can you have a discussion with someone who makes up what each word means.

I have no problem with limiting things it’s just that the forum started catching Fire because they couldn’t go murder a whole bunch of BR one players with a bunch of assaulters and BR 1 lineup.

And these are not upgraded but I was giving a demonstration to someone in the past

If we don’t even agree on what the word spam means, because I’m using a common definition and you’re making one up, then it really doesn’t make sense.

I wrote to lock this thread because I knew where this discussion would lead. Moderators are sleeping again.

Which is literally what I criticised you for, lol.

I say from the beginning that the game should either be 100 percent realistic, or the weapons should get worse and better, and prototypes should be added. If the game is only halfway realistic, no one will be satisfied.

Either the developers are targeting realistic players or arcade players. I play the game because it is not realistic and I want to play t32 and t34 heavy american tanks. And I don’t mind if post-war technology is mixed with war technology. And in this sense I will also write. The game is no longer realistic, they should go the way of balancing call of duty and not mislead players who want realism.

Until now, they could put it on both sides. The Rubicon was crossed with the addition of the Ho-RI tank. There is no way back.

Thank you for your ā€œinsightsā€ into the problem nub!

I’m of mixed opinion on all this. I hate when they spam them. I hate when I’m on the receiving end of getting blown up when they mine rallies (very rare for me). But these mines have saved my rallies and myself in some pinches. So… mixed opinion. The OP’s suggestion isn’t bad either.

I am a player and I like to place mines.

It all started because someone put mines in the 4 rally points of a game and it exploded 4 times, so I proceeded to turn the entire map into a minefield.

Then I saw all the experience that the mines gave me and here we are.

If there was two things I’d borrow from BFV AP mines gameplay they would be:

  • 1 second delay between the ā€˜ping’ and the exposion, to allow the player a chance to hit the ground and avoid taking full damage
  • ability to manually disarm the AP mine of spotted and take it to your own inventory to be deployed later

Of course, we will make the game easier so that even lazy players can play. And let’s punish experienced players with it.

Idk. How can you debate with someone who goes insane when someone wants to nerf AP mines.
So much for the ā€œforum badā€ I guess.

Well Thats the game design and is how it works in most games too.
And its not like defenders cant use planes and tanks either.

That surely works if you maxed out everything for Germans anyways and use event squads and such.

Then… maybe build one?
And you can also use ammo for your own.

So advice is doing nothing and get killed?
Wow. I dont know why people dont like that.

No. Now they only ā€œmurderā€ them with mine spam. Different I guess.

well then I hope that game design dies then

I would have been there if I didn’t have to make two accounts and it takes quite a while to level up as an F2P

I do build them but it only works in my free time when I’m not fighting sweat lords

Matches at BR5 do not give you much free time to sit around in AA gun

People who are going to BR1 and two to seal club new players or murder them with stacked equipment they’re killing the future of this game and I’m living in BR5 not hurting anyone

While I’m in agreement with you that mines should be left alone, I would like to point out that by WW2, the ā€˜Grenadier’ class was the soldier with the rifle grenade launcher; the concept of a specialized soldier who carried multiple hand grenades ended with WW1 and was replaced by the policy of anyone could carry as many hand grenades as they wanted or could procure; instead, the idea of multiple grenades carried became ā€˜mission specific’.
What this means is that in CQB or city fighting, it was - and still is - common practice to ā€œload upā€ with hand grenades; in open terrain, not so much. For reference, the first photo posted was of German infantrymen in Stalingrad, not some special class of ā€˜Grenadiers’. These are just regular infantrymen as noted by the white stripes on the collar, the man with the bags o’ grenades is a Gefreiter, behind and to the left is an Obergefreiter. So these are just regular ā€˜landser’. Grunts.
The second picture is of a machinegun team with the Grossdeutschland Division (black band with white letters, on right cuff); the MG man is carrying a standard load of an MG34, a hundred round belt 7.92mm SMK and two Eiergrenaten (Egg) defensive hand grenades. to his right and left are his ammo bearers, each with 2x egg grenades.

AP mine either destroys the tank and is useful. Or she doesn’t destroy the tank and is useless and looks ridiculous. There is nothing in between.
